Great video for teachers
I really enjoyed seeing an example of teaching modeling, as a new teacher.
Poor kids. I hope they beat the odds and went on to be good readers despite being subjected to this debunked method of "reading instruction."
My work place is forcing me to do this so im looking at good practice so that I can actually help the children...

Also, do you typically aim to do all components of this balanced literacy approach in one class? Thank you in advance. I’m so used to working with adults. I have little experience working with children and I’ll be teaching in a public school soon.
