Are you freaking high, okay 3 things 1 breaking news trim levels exist 2 60k for a land cruiser is almost a gift, the last one that sold in the US highest trim was like $100k 3 you sound like the guys who NEED a 2500 Cummins to haul bed liner to and from work. You can take them on the highway of course but that's not it's intended purpose, go get a highlander or grand. Just so you know, a lot of these cars that get taken to car shows like the one at the Jacob Javits Center in NYC (I know because I used to help move them from the garage in Somerset, NJ) they are prototypes, some don't have VINs and are truck transported or are otherwise not complete cars ready for sale to the public, they might have stuff taped just to hold them in place, just some food for thought. As far as the this Landcruiser, yeah that's like a $35k truck right there. If I want to stare at hard plastic like that I'll buy a Mitsubishi Mirage for $16k and stare at hard plastic all day.

Yes people are paying for the name and not the quality...

I always option cloth seats in my cars. So many of the premium seats are leather-like material (vinyl) and in Texas i don't want to sit on vinyl seats in the summer, plus I'm probably throwing seat covers on them if they have good aftermarket options.

While I agree it isn't worth 60k but a Landcruiser isn't "Luxury" in the global market. It was only marketed that way for North America and a few Middle Eastern Countries. The rest of the world got the base models with cloth seats. Look at the LC70 and then tell people that's not a real LC because it's full of plastic and not luxury.

I just bought a 2020 g70 2.0. I love it. Amazing interior quality.. especially for the money. Plenty of power for a daily driver and it turns heads because there are not a lot of them on the road
