The playoff system is a joke. You could win nearly every damn week & not be the champ because of a single race. I quit, & I'm not alone

There's no comments yet so I'm gonna rant. The playoff system is not broken. The majority of the issue is that folks just don't like Logano. He benefited from a system that isn't perfect, and it may seem unfair but this is what makes for good television and without good television NASCAR will have a limited lifespan in a changing world. Should somebody who is 15th in points standings win the championship? If points standings determine the winner then yes. What wins championships now? Wins. You win and you're in. You win three of the playoffs races and you got yourself a championship. This format has brought drama back to the sport, it makes every driver more hungry to win, and it makes the true driver reveal themselves. How bad do you want it?

In the before times of yesteryear, Phoenix Raceway did not have lights, and the NASCAR Cup Series only raced there once a year.

Several years back the late Robin Miller basically said NASCAR butchered Phoenix Raceway. I would love to know what your thoughts are on that if you have any?

The fun thing about an Xfinity Series race at Martinsville is they are real barn burners. Very entertaining. Door to door, wheel to wheel, fender rubbing action. Xfinity at Martinsville has been known to produce some real slam bang affairs at times. You would have to be crazy to not love a half mile short track event at its finest. Edge of your seat excitement only Martinsville can produce.

Martinsville stands the test of time in NASCAR. Best short track you will find anywhere. The Trucks always put on the best show there.

I wanted to ask you your honest opinion. When Jeff Striegle retires after Phoenix, do you think they are going to put Dave Moody in the booth, or do you believe Moody is perfectly content being out in the turns every weekend?

I think the first or second race Doug was in the PRN booth for, was when Jeff Gordon won the 1994 Coca - Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. I heard Doug say that he joined PRN in 1988. This question has always had my curiosity aroused, but I don't suppose you happen to know what Doug's role with PRN was before 1994? or what the lineup of PRN announcers was like before Doug Rice and Mark Garrow became the main booth team? I know Hill Overton and Bill Connell were PRN's turn announcers in the early years, long before they had the people they have today. I think Ken Squier did some PRN races in the booth, in the early years as well, before TBS started broadcasting the Charlotte races on TV, in the late 80's. I guess the question I really want to know is, I know Doug and Mark have been the main booth team, since at least 1994. I was wondering what the PRN booth team between 1988 to 1993 was like, if you have any knowledge regarding the matter, after Ken Squier started doing the Charlotte races on TV for TBS, in either '88 or '89 I think it was? I have found no info anywhere on the internet about it. I was wondering if you have heard any insiders say anything on the matter? This has always aroused my curiosity. I'm up to date on MRN's history, but I have very little knowledge, regarding the pre 1994 Performance Racing Network era of NASCAR?

I didn’t even care that the race ended under yellow, it was still a fun race! I wish FOX did a better job showing and explaining how Byron won the 500 because when I saw it live, they made it so confusing
