Yesterday, after work, I finally saw my 1st freight train of 2025.. 😁🚂 train 565 roll by porirua on its way to welly behind DL9711 wth the work train in the background parked up in the loop wth DL's 9705 & 9262 & YL & YJ class ballast wagons.. 😁🚂

Passing Porirua by bus 2day, got a glimpse of DL9705 on a work train on the visible end.. 🚂😁

Look what I just captured 2day guys.. 😄🚂 finally got a refurbished EF heading north on a freight train.. 🚂🚂 262 (EF30134)

Got out in time to just see a nice long 217 passing by, behind DL's 9446 & 9354.. 🚂

Train 217 passes through Linden 2.5hrs late 2day due to a mishap jist south of waikanae. The train had broken in half & lost half the wagons, the lost wagons also blocked a level crossing.. 🫨🚂 bit of drama for KR 2day..

Wow, this was a nice long train 221 this morning behind DL's 9728 & 9360, wth A bit of a mixed consist, & good 2 see logs.. 😁🚂🚂 passing throu Redwood heading south to welly. 772 meters long, & 42 wagons.. 😁 This was filmed wth my video camera again & hadn't used it for bout 3 month.. 🚂
