Nope, I haven't used a real n64 controller before, can't really tell you how it compares.

@@aitortyper627 Well ok then. I think I will just go for the hyperkin admiral and have wireless. I like that this copies the N64 in look and holding style and I am not sure how well games with dpad AND analog stick will work with things like the retro fighters or hyperkin. I guess the most important thing is the 6 button face layout though. What I might do is grab the hyperkin, and buy one of these as it's so dirt cheap, and just plug it in if I am playing a game where i need to hold left prong with left hand and middle with right hand. @@teddym2808 well, I don't know if all these controller have such a bad dpad, but I know mine does haha, would never recommend playing a fighting game with mine at least. It works very well with Goldeneye though, for instance. Thanks for the thumbs up

@@aitortyper627 Fighting games will be great with hyperkin or the retro fighters brawler (haven't decided yet), so that will be covered. All I am concerned about is games like the first one in the video where you use dpad to move and analog to aim, that's impossible with the "new style" N64 controllers like the brawler64. This is why i'll get this cheap clone to have as a backup :)

I think it's worth getting for the price, even if the d-pad is pretty bad (at least mine is). Keep in mind though, I mostly bought it because I'm collecting these USB controllers , a Xbox controller is probably the most dogmatic way to emulate pretty much any system. I personally dislike having the C-buttons mapped to the right stick when using a xbox controller.

@@aitortyper627 Oh yeah, exactly! How im playing Tonic Trouble on project 64 right now! Do you know what plugin is used to be able to map any button on the xbox controller?
