Fix is uninstall the game delete the whole folder. Reinstall the game to your C: drive. Yes it sounds dumb but the base game and multiplayer only need to be on the exact same drive your windows is installed on and then boot it. Then quit the game. Then download the content packs on a separate drive. Works. Try it. After 100 failed tries i got that error to go away and let me in the game by doing this. Actually saw it on a russian site and after trying everything else on the Internet. Was like what do i have to lose. Works. Your welcome

Also try changing Call of duty folder to not be compressed in advanced properties. Have to reinstall but start with base game and get it working before addons, saves time down the track

NOTE IF THAT DOESNT WORK UNCOMPRESS YOUR SSD RIGHT CLICK ON C DRIVE GO TO PROPERTIES AND UNCHECK THE COMPRESS BOX HIT APPLY AND OKAY. LIKE IF WORKS IT DID FOR ME
