Regardless of the improvement of NA beverages, I think these drinks still glorifies alcohol. They may help some people who have alcohol cravings but psychology it keeps people bound to drinking alcohol in some way. You're definitely going to be financially bound. I chose to quit drinking so these drinks would not trigger me at all. I just don't see the point in spending even more money for these drinks than with actual alcohol. Alcohol is the only drug that is legal, promoted, encouraged and glorified to the point that even sober people are partaking in drinks that mimick alcohol. There are no fake crack, meth or heroin for former addicts to those drugs. Just my opinions. Great discussion.

Super powerful. A week sober today and that voice always kick in into my head everytime the binge partying gets out of hand is “are you livin your life to your full potential?” . I’m just tired of getting my life together then playing Russian roulette with can I enjoy alcohol or drugs again . But now I feel like I’m listening. Every point you both said resonated sooo real with me ! Everytime I got sober I learned something more about myself. It’s okay to be in a bubble now. It’s okay to just know myself. W out influence inside my body that eventually make me hate myself. Love love that I found this. Thank you! Btw I googled “ sobriety gave me peace” and this popped up.

Love the format that has energy as a doorway to sharing a glimpse into the hosts' lives, with Exercise Bryce and Transition Liz. Since Introvert Brooke is ALL about interactivity and connection, I'll go ahead and share too. I am feeling energized and excited because today is the first day of school for me. A year from now I hope to be certified and actively working in my field. And, total transparency cuz we're all fam here on YT, why not? Feel extremely scared rn, like I am attempting to walk a tight rope without a net. But fear makes you shake and shaky legs are not going to help on a high wire, so I am prepared to go forward calmly, one breath at a time.
