Please be aware of your pet when playing guitar or music too loud. It can cause stress and anxiety if they are exposed to it for too long and anything 140db or above can cause immediate pain and damage. No offense intended.
Gettin' my groove on!
sounds good 👍
Ed, I have to say I love my Stompin Berry!!! I have been trying to replace my favorite pocket knife since I lost it about a year ago. This thing is perfect for what I'm doing. I needed something to open boxes, anti freeze containers, stuff like that. This thing is perfect!
It is a cool little knife...
Wow that sure brings back memories I was saying Sly and the Family Stone in Detroit thanks for sharing have a great day
Sly Stone it is! Thanks for listening!
I need me one of them. lol
I love it!
@@EdDanaGuitar 700 beans up here. Probably worth it. Sounds nice.
@@pXnEmerica Is that the Tim Henson Signature or the one I have? $500 for this one.
By the way.. how you been up there in the Great White North?
@@EdDanaGuitar Dollar sucks, so it's more beans here. The model you have in the title. Been good, fought the goombas over stormwater, won but had to move anyway. Moved twice and got a place of my own now. Wins with stress lol.
One of each color. That’s something I would do! lol Love them!
Yeah, you would... lol.
@ When you find something you really like, it is certainly worth doubling up on it. I have a couple models that I have two exact (except for the color) same guitars. My Les Pauls (Gibson and Epiphone) are all actually pretty different in neck shape and such. Same for my Strats. I have two pair of Kramer Baretta that are identical except for paint. Two specials and two higher end ones.
I have a hell of a time getting used to the wider necks but nylon stringed guitars offer a sound like no other!
How many guitars have you got Ed? I think I have 12. I'm not 100% certain how many I have in my "junk room" So, when you're young you have a jink drawer, when you're an old bastage like me at 62, (but the ladies tell me I don't smell a day older than 61 years 11 months and a half hour) you suddenly discover you have "junk rooms"! So, I haven't dug my way to the west wall yet, I plan on heading an archaeological exploration this winter and hope to reach the summit by spring with the goal of hitting the back wall by next fall! I have seven in my recording room and two in the den, and I think I have four or five in the junk room. I'm not a smart collector like Scot Grove, I don't go after "investment' axes, mostly because I can't afford them. I simply buy what I want to play. Take care brother Edlington, say hello to the little lady! Jack ~'()'~
Sounds great ed thanks for sharing have a wonderful day
loud and in left channel only but this would be awesome wiff it mixed in to something. good to see ya man :) cheers
I should have used OBS...
Sounds Great, Awesome Share, Have a Great Day, Keep Rockin 🤘
I had to stop the video and order a stomping blueberry. Looks like my favorite little pocket knife.
Haha...
Wait until you see what i got! No I certainly don't need another guitar. However, I gor the right price. So i did it. Give you a hint: It's a tip of the hat to Randy Rhoads. I'm gearing up for surgery in December. 3 months recovery. Hopefully I'll hit south Florida for a week or two in March. Before business pops off again. Anyway, glad to see ya. I have some old school switch blades and butterfly knives.
Good job, Guys and Gal! Hey, Ed, how are you liking that guitar? I can't make out the Brand, but it's nylon strings , is that right?
Yes.. Ibanez... same with the bass she's playing..
@@EdDanaGuitar Ahh...very cool!
You guys sure put your time in rehearsing. Very professional! I like that.
Back in the electric days.
one of my favs! great job, thanks for sharing!
Excellent performance! Rock on! 👍👍
Yep, another good one.
Rocking my friend's!!!
Always liked that one. Nice job!
always dig this song! great work guys and great sound!
Thanks Randy!
love the sound and mix yall getting here!
Great job. Go Lynda. Ed, that guitar sounds great.
Thanks Rex!!
Nice job, Folks. Cool bass, Lynda!
Thanks Rick!
Very cool!
Sounding good the best thing about nylon srings is you don't have to change them as often as electric strings. Unless they break that is once they get stretched out it's all good. Unlike electric strings that played regularly need to be replaced monthly (at least that's how it is for me). Or if you gig before every show maybe you could get two gigs in using one set of strings if you got lucky.
I bought two extra sets. But I believe you are right they last a LONG time!
Nylon and bass strings last I jokingly told a friend at work I was officially a bass player. He asked why and I told him I had the same strings on my bass for almost a year now. I have two brand new sets of 45 to 105 still haven't changed them. He laughed and agreed half surprised they haven't rusted normal humidity is about 10 under the temperature gotta love Southern summers.
Awesome Share, Sounds Great, Have a Great Day Keep Rockin 🤘
'Phred'....phucking lol
Wow, what an original! Pete Drake! Can't get enough of this guy! 😮😊
My envoy sat for a long time and the innner parts of the knobs must have collected dust or had some corrosion form. (I live in humid south MS) The gain knobs made a cracking noise when turned or didn't work at all. I layed it on it's side, took the knobs off, and sprayed electrical contact cleaner at the base of the knobs and turned them alot. I was skeptical this would work, because there doesn't really seem to be be a way for the contact cleaner to get inside the knob. It did the trick and it sits beside my couch next to my guitar that gets played more, because I dont have to hook up to Marshall half stack.
I can honestly say this is the first time i have ever heard a classcal acoustic played with distortion. I like it craziest i ever got was flange and delay with my ovation celebrity.
It's just a touch.... lol....
Sounds great Ed! It loves those pedals too.
Hi Ed, The Ibanez is sounding good. I don’t know about you but I’m finding fatter or wider necks more comfortable nowadays, I think it’s partly to do with the arthritis I have in some of my fingers. I always fancied one of those Gibson Chet Atkins CEC nylon strung solids.
See if you can find one of these at a music store to try out! The neck is wider but not thicker. Modern C...
Sounds good Ed it won't be long and you'll be gigging with the guitar thanks for sharing have a great day
Its a Beautiful Guitar 🎸🎸Great Share,Keep Rockin 🎸🎸😊
I love the sound it has man! darker and fuller! I'm not a fan of those wide thick necks tho. maybe lighter gauge strings would make them easier to bend?
The neck is 1.811" at the nut but a modern C shape. The nylon strings are easy to bend but the pitch doesn't change.
How does it sound unplugged? The only guitar I've never had is a classical acoustic. You've got me looking into one of those because it's more like an electric body wise than an acoustic.
It's not much unplugged, the soundhole is on the top.
That sounds pretty good ed
Thanks John!
Sounds good. I’d like to hear your Stratocaster again too but I suppose you gotta give ‘em what they want. Thin is where it’s at for an acoustic. I think that’s why I don’t play mine. Kills my shoulder wrapping my arm around it.
I'm sure we'll do something Rock And Roll again sometime but right now this is where we're at!
I heard The Rain Song in there, nice! Cool guitar too, always thought they looked neat.
You did hear The Rain Song!
I believe I heard a little foggy mountain breakdown in there lol 11:39
Foggy mental breakdown Randy.... lol....
Looks good. Have fun with it.
Very nice Ed 👍✌😎 Love to you both 🤟
It looked silver to me if you didn't say it was purple I never would have known. Nice fiddle how's the tuning stability? I get it started on electric and acoustics make you work for it. Not my go to guitars to play got to work up to playing an acoustic there will be warm up time needed. Love my acoustic 12-string but have to play it for about an hour before it's not fighting me.
Tuning seems really good. Acoustics are kicking my ass even after two years. After three hours i'm shot.
Impressive guitar. Looks good too.
a pruuuuity little guitar
I tried to put nylon on the Acousticaster and broke the first one. I might ty again...
@@EdDanaGuitar nothing worse than breaking one string out of a set
A set of black nylon....
My daughter lives in Lakeland but has property In Suwannee County. It is a hobby farm they will retire to. My son in law has already retired, my daughter soon. They are Deputy Sheriff’s. My son in law rode it out to be with the animals. Suwannee County was pretty much a direct hit. He survived. There is damage. She is on her way there on closed roads as I type. Love the guitar! I think you are gonna get use out of that!
I hope everything works out for them TR! Too many disasters in Florida this year. Rockin Dave Byron lives in Fort Myers and from what I've seen it's under water! So far i love this guitar and it's only the first day! I'll post band video tomorrow with this and Lynda's new bass. I guess we are Ibanezers now! Hahaha!
@@EdDanaGuitar I have a couple three Ibanez.
R is for Regent...if I remember correctly. I've had quite a few Artist's series and just sold a Masterworks series guitar a few months back.
Regent! Cool. Didn't you like the Masterworks?
@@EdDanaGuitar Yeah, I liked it ok, but it wasn't a keeper... I actually thought that the Artist series were better value, dollar for dollar. But that is just mho :)
