I'm going to be real, this mashup is... extremely busy. It goes hard to work trying to chase down that First High, that tearjerking feeling of "power compensating for helplessness" we all felt the first time we listened to Bury the Light. It's working so hard at this that it overdoses on its own pursuit of rising orchestral swells and passionate vocals and goes into shock. A lot of this mashup devolves into noise without a sense for timing or place, and so whenever it tries to have a calmer moment broken by the injection of screaming lyrics, for instance, it loses me. Much like the title, the song feels a need to cram so much into it and try to sound profound and sweeping, that it just comes off as muddled and odd. The Approaching Storms was great. It had a better sense for what conveys a feeling of strength and triumph, the music rises and falls along with what one could imagine would be the phases of the boss fight it accompanies. This is tragically not that remix. I do appreciate that you can do better, but there were just too many ingredients in this pot of soup and it all boiled over. Just my honest take.
Thanks for the feedback, I'm not a musical expert in music theory or whatever, just a guy who does mashup 'cause I think it sounds cool and all, but I do aim to please at some point or another. EX Ult's much busier, and much much messier, since it has like 11/12 acapellas I had to incorporate into, and it's 30 minutes long, but it's the next best thing aside from Your Reason For Fighting mix I've done, so if you're fine with your ears somewhat ringing, check them new releases out.

I got one COD BO2 edit (Cordis Die), one Wolfenstein edit (The Partisan), two MGRR mixmash (TOTIKFR x We End Up This Way x A Soul Can't Be Cut; It Has To Be This Way [Operation Tecumseh], and one Bury The Light 'special' edit (Bury The Light - EX Plus) already released on my Drive link, but not in the video form yet, can you guess why? I'm rather slothful, and bored. Also, this one in particular (EX Ult) was 11 months delayed 'cause of various reasons, be it depression, procrastination, work, learning MIDIs, and then some; I hope you enjoyed it, 'cause the other one (EX Alt) will absolutely, will be significantly ... 'harder'.
I hope that Sega will not be revealing everything about Sonic X Shadow Generations especially the Shadow Generations.
They're doing pretty well on not showing us everything that can spoil the fun, and I'd like for them to keep it that way until the game releases.
