this is criminally underrated
Thank you ❤
Holy crap! You did 16? I just got done watching you do 12. This is insane!
Apparently someone did 15, so I had to go for 16 😤
You are incredible. I'm still working on doing one round. This achievement should go viral. Well done.
You are incredible. Your comment should go viral amigo. Keep up the good work and always stay positive. ALWAYS
Still shooting for 20? You should make a plank hold video for time? Or maybe with weighted vest to make it shorter?
I've been busy with work and what not, but maybe I'll do a plank attempt sometime soon.
Pretty impressive but you are not in the down position for "lift and squat got to tear the ground" for the 3 - 4 seconds.
Thanks for your comment. I kept the tension on my chest the entire workout, jerking up and down trying to match the tempo perfectly would’ve probably torn a muscle. Certainly felt that way. Also if you do the challenge you soon realize the lift and squat portion actually feels like an active rest between the true static portion 'Old Miss Lucy's dead and gone Left me here to weep and moan' is the real killer 😆
I appreciate the critique and comment though. I am now working towards the plank record which is more straightforward with no room for error.
@@Sh0n0 do the joe cristopher form, it is easier
@@Doomguyyyli don’t want it to be easier. That was my point. Exercise is meant to be a test of your fortitude-mental and physical. I didn’t want to cheat by resting on my elbows at the hardest portion of the movement.
@@Sh0n0 hmm sure, i cant complete 1 single round on this challenge i always fall on 24 push ups, yesterday i did only 20 or 19 push ups but i will not give up.

I like you too amigo. Keep up the positivity. 🙏
Didn't see a video of this? Did you try them? If so how did you do? You have very tough abs to do Sally this long.
Yeah my abs were pretty sore but I can hold the plank for an hour+ so it is accustomed
How did you train to that level?
it’s a mental thing. But you have to dig really deep, find something that pisses you off for example, and use that for grit & motivation. Then work, bit by bit, it takes time. For example the first few times one tries the Sally up challenge they will likely fail, which is normal. So first try to complete it once, then the brain becomes stronger/accustomed to the pain. Then do it twice, three times, four times and so on. I really ‘broke through’ once I could do it 7 times. After that point the limitations were no longer physical but mental, and if I commited in my mind to doing it 16 times, I was able to. Good luck and keep working hard, no limits!
@@Sh0n0 thank you! Currently I fail at 1:33 which means I will have to work a lot...how many times per week would you recommend to do it? And also how much time did it take you to get to that point? Just wondering I'm not trying to compare myself to you
@@AChannel-pl7hu when you fail at 1:33 what does your body/brain tell you? Is it because of pain or is your body literally shaking/unable to push through it? If it’s just pain just take a mental pause and try and endure it a bit more, you will surprise yourself. I did it about once a week when I was training for it. It’s a painful exercise so I didn’t kill myself doing it multiple times a week and end up hating myself lol 😂
@@Sh0n0 I can push myself up after the second long holding but not in a good form so I just try to hold it to the end and I feel it mostly in my shoulders I can handle the pain cause I'm strong mentally but my body couldn't seem to keep pushing anymore
@@AChannel-pl7hu i see. Good answer, you seem to have knowledge of your limits. If you scour people attempting the song on the internet and failing, 99% of the time they mentally quit. The mind always quits before the body, always. Mental strength can be trained, the brain remembers how to be resilient, which is why people who face hard things and survive have a deeper ‘reservoir’ of will to pull from. Keep training and keep pushing and keep getting stronger, and when you want to quit try to keep pushing because thats when the mind starts to get stronger.
You must have really tough abs to hold plank that long. How about trying Sally to leg lifts for max number of times?
Leg lifts? you mean lying on the ground, or hanging from a bar? Lying on the ground would bore me, I think I could do it indefinitely, hanging from a bar would be very very very tough just by the exhaustion of grip strength. I will upload a video soon of me doing the sally up challenge using the ab wheel from a standing position, that is my next goal.
@@Sh0n0 Lying down, legs from six inches to vertical. I think the YT record for this is 500 non stop. Or try just holding at 6 inches as an isometric hold till failure. Think men's record for that on YT is 10 minutes. You have to have incredibly tough abs to hold the pushup position as long as you do. And just plain GUTS to keep going that long. Impressive endurance!!
@@JP-rf7px thank you 🙏
See how many cycles you can do with leg raises?
I may try it if you would like. Do you mean hanging or lying down? Today for my ab circuit I did lying leg raises for a total of 20 minutes (2 mins on, 2 mins off), superset with russian twists with a 14 lb medicine ball for 20 minutes.

@@JP-rf7px i will try this very soon. Both the isometric and reps. Thank you for the suggestion!
I think the RUclips record for 6 inch hold is about 10 minutes. If you can plank for longer than that, you might be able to beat that. It's a real isometric toughness test. Most can't do even 5 minutes.
Determination, discipline, drive. Thank you for posting a shorter cut of this. I wonder if your goal is to become an Olympian

@@Sh0n0 ... Keep pushing yourself, not just with your fitness feats, but also on camera and putting yourself out there. Consider changing your channel name to your own name.
