That last wave was a competition joke. They gave him one score for an incomplete manoeuvre, but technically if they judged that as incomp0lete then he should have got 2 scores, maybe a 2 and a 4. 2 for the failed air and 4 for the second part of the same wave where he did a scorching backside reo.
Amazing, one of these was literally a 450! edit: and a 540 was in here too!
On a vert ramp 360 would be first time rotated to switch stance he did 2 of those rotations plus a revert out. As im concerned that is a fs 720 which is crazy could almost consider a 900

Hey surf world, and yes I have surfed and skated for over 3 decades so I can say this. The air at 2:06 is a 720 not a 540. I know surf terms can only comprehend a 540 but imagine it like a sk8 ramp.
and now there are four Brazilian surfers on tour doing a lot bigger and more tecnical airs,and everyone is complaining and calling it lame surfing

I don't understand how riding out of 3:09 is incomplete yet riding out of a layback snap is considered complete. Either way he should've gotten the score for the surfing he did after riding out of the "incomplete" maneuver.
