Swindon have never had any omnicities. The E400s are primarily for the school routes not for the 5. Primary route is for schools whilst being slotted onto regular routes during the day/weekends.

I grew up in Newbury, you also might be interested to know there is a RailCam between Newbury and the race course stations.

Just for info the 2 is now mixed in with the 13/14, 13 normally becomes a 14, 14 becomes a 2 and 2 becomes 13 and so on during the day.

Night travel is so much cooler and quieter

The informative narrative and confident delivery were very good. However the camera position from below and whilst walking gave for a swirly jerky background so I had to close my eyes to avoid getting seasick. If you wanted to improve things you could keep the sound track and replace the jerky bits with film of the locations on a tripod or still photos but I don't blame you for not being bothered. Maybe something to consider for the future. My photography of trains isn't steady either so I can't give you any practical advice on that score. I live in Gloucester and have wondered where the old station was so now I know. I've also walked the line from Tetbury. So thanks for covering a subject I was always interested in.
