They eat whatever the people feed them. I don't know what they do in the winter. That road is closed that time. And yes, the local authorities know about them. But that place is well known for the bears on the road. And about the extincting thing...yes, they know. Recently, a lot of bears were imported is this country, because of EU.

Is dangerous if somebody has speed. But the road is proper flagged and the drivers would know. And the drivers don't go with speed there, because they know it's a calm place where people come to see the bears, so they go slow. 🥰

The cage is not to small. There are the mother and the father. In the box are the babies. I understand your concern. I thought about that. That somebody will speak this up. But as I know, and from my experience, you are not allowed to clean the cage or the nest, because the mom will not be so comfortable with that, and she can kill the babies. This mom already killed 2 of her babies in the past, if not 3. She will not "recognize" them after. Or not wanting them. I wanted to clean it, but I am not allowed and don't want the babies to die or to be killed. Plus that, this mom is at the 4th or 5th generation of giving birth to babies and she cleans herself the box. Maybe in a few days, I will clean it, when they are bigger. The cases are very rare to not kill them. Thanks for your concern and kindness, Cristina!🥰♥️
