Wow most of the comments seem to talk about a friend or loved one having killed themselves and it having something to do with this song. I know you can't really explain how you attach memories to certain things and people but I just discovered this song and really like it. I'll probably need to listen to it a few more times before I really start to get what some of you guys do.

My old man shouted and screamed (sometimes even hit but im not goin into that) at me for 20+ years over everything and it wasnt until he was too sick and frail for me to even want to hurt him that he came clean to me about all the Drugs and illegal substances he took prior to having me that fucked up my brain chemistry and led to me being the fucked up individual i am Everyday i wake up with the vilest kind of anger at him and my mother for acting like i was being emotional or just "not getting it" for 20+ years and now that an adult its therapy this and forgiveness that. Fuck them fuck every parent that does shit like this to their children. Idk why but this song is like a good way for me to forget how fucking angry i am for a few minutes until i hit replay again

2022 and it's still a damn good song

Just freshly turned 20 back then, she was 28. I discovered a lot of great music thanks to her. This band, of course, was proudly one of them. We tried to make things work, but the age gap remained. 8 years, those 8 damn years that she had ahead of me I was never able to overrun finally took their toll after we spent our days together for two years. Was great while it lasted, but I couldn't count the times I had wished to travel back in time, to a time where she was younger so the age gap could be less crucial on us. Was that considered love? I truly believe so. Not after a decade now did I realize how childish my fantasy was.. My feeling to her somehow still remains, but now it's more out of nostalgia.. I miss you Taylor, I hope you are now doing great and have found the one for you in life
