Jeeps On The Run 2023 food drive, light parade
In the very very beginning I saw it at the Florida State Fairgrounds at a semintruck exhibition and all Bigfoot did was slowly crawl up on two cars that had flat tires and busted out the windows the people went nuts, it might have been 1978 or 79 had smaller wheels and tires than this version. Come to think of it Bigfoot may have had this tire and wheel combo. I was just a little kid.
I remember that, and hope they do that at next year's 50th reunion
@@robguysgarage5422 I remember Bigfoot also did donuts , it was nothing like anything people had seen before.
Didn’t the guys on Power Nation TV rebuild that engine a few years back?
Yes but they have since taken that engine out and retired it.
Yes I believe so
hi there i already change the latch, i check the fuse and still not working any idea how to fix?
You need to see if you have power and ground at the latch and if not start testing towards the front until you find where you're missing a power or ground to start with
Bob is my dad's 2nd or 3rd cousin. We went to his home for a family reunion, maybe around 1990 or so, and got to sit on the tires for pictures. He also had a Ford Minivan monster truck there.
Vèry cool! Thanks for watching
Darron is a great guy. Awesome that you got to sit in the original monster truck!❤
I've alwayd wanted to at least sit in it, everyone in that shop was great to be around
Is that machinibg heard in the background?
It was actually my photo scanner when I was scanning in all of Wally's pictures
The legend the King.
Thank you, mister. Very good! Thanks from Slovakia.
Thanks for watching from so far away!
It's for sale on marketplace
Thanks a buddy sent me the marketplace ad
Searching RUclips is like the video encyclopedia for all us DIY people; with that being said I really like to extend my sincere gratitude to you Sir a very detailed and easy to follow steps in replacing this window… I watched it Two time then waited for the morning for an early start, I had the broken window parts out and new one installed in 3 hrs. because of your shared experience…. Thank you again for your posting ❤️👏🤙🏽
Wow, thank you! Glad it helped
Best video I’ve seen actually explaining everything.
Thanks for watching, glad it helped
Always has been always will b the classiest monster truck
I remember the day, the first time seeing that truck in person, like it was yesterday. Wasn't the original "original Bigfoot " a little bit smaller though?
Not sure, there's so many different stories about it it's hard to get a straight answer
This is the original Bigfoot. It's been through many different configurations in it's life.
Get video of geeen one beside it
That was a few weeks ago 500 miles from me, there's a little bit more of the green one on my other video of the open house
I want that bumper for mine
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks for watching
Art work by Dan Patterson....he was a legend in STL. RIP my freind 😢
Thanks for watching
That truck is the beginning of Monster trucks, they ruled when I was young. I’m 52 and still love them especially the originals. For guys my age it’s an absolute Legend. I’m Canadian but I also love America 🇺🇸
I'm right there with you
I would pay a million dollars for this truck. But I would want them to go through the whole motor and drive train before I took it
It's one of 3 that Bob will never sell, but you can go see it though at least, thanks for watching!
@@robguysgarage54221, 5, and 8?
How many people can ever say they’ve sat in that seat? Great video.
Don't think a million would touch that truck
I think this is such a great thing you’re doing here...these old pulling trucks are a part of my past to...I remember seeing him pull in the Richmond coliseum late 80’s
Thanks I love doing this and have some surprises coming soon, thanks for watching!
Excellent, thanks for providing this.
My pleasure! Thanks for watching!

The Lengend, Original!!?❤❤❤
I was bout 17 wen i seen it in the movie ..take this here job and shove it wit Johnnie Paycheck and that there was the greatest lookin truck I'd ever seen and I'm a gmc feller
Yup me too, it was great to see it again
Can't forget about Roadhouse..the original, of course!
Great video! The truck's paint is definitely showing its age, A few scuffs and a bit of rust too. The 48-inch tires on it are different than the ones they had years ago, with different tread patterns and shape. It seems to me that they had more shocks on it back in the day compared to now. Thanks for sharing.
It's a clone of the original but its old also
@@clterry07 It's NOT a clone. It IS the original.
i know this is late review but thank you are the ONLY one on RUclips to help me with this fan clutch/water pump situation (06 Rainier)
Very cool. I have never seen it so up close and personal like that. Nicely done!
thanks buddy!
Wonder if the old girl can still crush?
I would think so, next year is their 50th anniversary, I think it would be really cool to set up the original car crush, nice and slow blowing out glass at that event
Very helpful. MIne needs new Watts kinkage. Anything out there on rear sway rep[lacement, esapecially bolt specs? Got the sway bar. No Bolts.
I never did the sway bar bushings, I don't see any specs for a rear sway bar but the front to bracket is 18 ft lbs, sway bar to control arm is 22 ft lbs
wow! should be, how to make an easy job much harder!
Sometimes they don't go as planned, that's working on cars for ya
What happend to the go for it sled?
I'm not sure on that one
I believe my Freind Kirby Rigs helped build this?
I'm not sure but will ask a guy that will know and get back to you
I talked to the guy that owns Allen's OBS 1 and he said you are correct
@@robguysgarage5422 Yea He lives in Paris Kentucky. I will have to send Him the link to this video.
Great fix as batteries add up quicker than food. With a switch on the power supply, I would be tempted to use hot glue in the switch so it could accidentally be switched. Especially if this is for grandma! Another problem solving video. Congratulations…
Thanks for watching, I just put a dab of hot glue on the outside of the switch to hold the wire in place so that it doesn't pull out easily
Thanks for showing the diagnostic thought process. Everyone has different tools but understanding the starters health, alternator’s health, narrows it down quickly. My grandmother had a dual terminal battery installed at Sears that her Cadillac used the side terminals. U tested it with a DMM & conductance tester by Midtronic’s and it failed. She drove it to Sears, they told her the battery was fine, could be the switch or starter. I rebuilt the starter a year ago, mad, I went with her. They didn’t like me in the shop but I stayed. They tested the unused top post and fine. I said this is not a valid test so check the side terminals. They did and got nothing. They never said a word, replaced the battery and grandma and I left. Just another missed opportunity to use best practices. Thanks for the video!
Thanks for watching, hope it helped
I hate trim work but you make it look easy! Thanks.
Wood is not my favorite to work with but it is fun though, thank you!
It does give me a warm feeling to see a tech use anti-seize on bolts in aluminum. I use dielectric grease on connectors, bulbs, grounds everything! Thank you for a short but sweet video. Regards.
Thank you, in the Chicago rust belt anti seize has been my friend many times
Nice job of showing the insides. I had one leak but at the top. A gas unit like yours, flue gases pass by the baffles on its way out the top. Interesting was the cold water inlet pipe was PVC and curled around the bottom about 300 degrees. It had tiny holes to jet the hard water deposits off the bottom in a scouring action. Draining depends on water hardness. If city or well water runs thru a softening unit first, then to water heater, it stays clean. The magnesium anode that goes thru the top degrades in 10 years due to galvanic action. I removed mine, added anti seize to the threads and installed it, I think it was 1 1/4” but only. They sell for $20 and most hinge as no head room where installed. Hot water raises in the tank along with and bubbles from super-heated water on burner plate. I thought the leaked at bottom but no, this had 3 tiny holes at the top. The tanks are lined with fiberglass & resin. The tank if repaired to be leak proof, if modified would make a great sandblast tank. Thanks for the video again.
We do have city water so probably why it was not deposited up too much, thanks for watching
As a retired ASE Master since 78, and a half dozen years holding tech seminars for ACDelco, I applaud your electrical diagnostic procedure and clear explanation for the pubic DIY folks. Question, Using Mitchell’s diagnostic program, my wife’s 2015 Malibu LS Fleet V6 & auto. It uses the Stop-Start system and she hates it. Trucks have a switch but I would guess have a different PCM. I don’t like extra wear on the starter & flexplate. With my eSI, only going to 2014, I have no schematic for the crank circuit. Now, if in Park and a negative or B+ signal cancels auto stop. If a guy split the circuit using a diode to input a fake signal into the start-stop system (relay or what) the engine will remain on, while not messing with gear indicator or shifting. Short of ex-coworker who retired from the dealer, I would have to walk in blind to ask for a print of both circuits. I possible, could you thing of a video exploring this issue? I thank you kindly! DK, Omaha. New subscriber.
Thanks you, if you email me at robguy01@sbcglobal.net I can get you a 2015 starting system diagram from Identifix if you'd like
@@robguysgarage5422 Even though I have never used IDenfix before, I may take you up on your generous offer. All I have is an iPhone 13 mini after 5 laptops died after a couple of years of use, I can’t afford to keep buying one. Why do 60yr old refrigerators freeze your beer but a 10 year old refrigerator need parts left and right to keep going! Truly a sad state of today’s design efforts! Make em cheap, increase stock price and the profit margin. I thank you kindly after I get done with in home nursing, Dr’s appointment then a new neurosurgeon for spinal cord stimulator #4 after last guy gave up. I refuse to end up FUBAR, but headed that was! I am saving your video to private file storage. Once again, thank you, even my TECH2 stops at 2012. TIS2WEB is my last chance outside your offer. Starting system and shift indicator as it uses pressure sw in trans and inputs from shifter position. You know, OBD-2 double confirmation stuff. I appreciate it, seriously. DK
Allen Gaines was and always will be the legend this truck was the best I have always had a love for this truck since I was a kid and that was 1979 thru 83 this truck was the best I got model kits for my birthday had the play school trucks I would love to see it in real life or even buy the complete truck as it sits if it’s ever for sale ?
You can see it, the address is in the vid and the guys are great to talk to - I would love to buy it myself but I don't think it's ever leaving Kentucky
I wish the driver was still going strong and life was good but times waits on no one and we are only here a short time but god bless the golden ones
I love this truck growing up as a little boy in the late 70s early 80s was a good time for everything wresting monster trucks like big foot usa1 gijoe transformers MTV THIS TRUCK WAS RIGHT THERE AT THE TOP OF THAT LIST DUKES OF HAZARD ALSO WAS MY FAVORITE BUT THIS TRUCK WAS SO EPIC I LOVE IT SO MUCH
Come see it live at the Kentucky Horse Park the first weekend in January, it's well worth seeing in person again and sitting in it
Im a bit sad they didn't fire it up and let us hear the old girl run
Dang it, I should've asked him to, didn't even think of it
Very informative clip man, I appreciate your upload. Many Thanks! Quick question it looks like a spare that has pattern is 17 inch, and my other tires are 16 inch, can I still use the 17 inch as a spare? Or will it cause issues?
As long as the overall tire diameter is the same it won't cause any issues, or if you have a different size tire you can always put it on the back but it may cause abs issues with turning at a different rate
That’s ok but,how to open the back seat
There's a button on the top left of the seat that I use in the video to get the seatback to pull down
I need a deeper 5/8 socket
Time to go tool shopping
Very cool!
Thanks!
what happened to the steam whistle ?
It's inside the truck laying on the floor, I show it in the walk around video I did of that truck
Thanks my brother for taking the time to show, you got yourself a new subscriber 🎉
Awesome glad it helped, thanks
I think the metal channel and rubber goes on differently, instead of using the hammer put the rubber on then slide the metal channel over it.
Possibly
Awesome!!! Child hood truck right there ❤❤
