7 now going to Kahala Mall 9 Kaimuki-KCC/Pearl Harbor, 18/24 Aina Haina via UH Manoa-Diamond Head-KCC and Ala Moana Center along with the 23 Kahala-Sea Life Park got restructured meaning that 9, 18/24 are discontinued

Yes. That is correct. Route 200 - Kapiolani Park / Palolo Valley and Route 307 - Kamehameha IV Road - Kalihi Transit Center are the only new routes for August service modifications.
That happened to me when I was on route 532 Momilani on bus #217. I was laughing.
It’s only doing that because the route is new and the bus people are working on the announcements. No need worry. Us OTS people got it

Oh no so it's begun for the 2003 Rainbow Gillig Low Floors. I personally prefer these models over the current 200, 600 series as these were more "unique" overall than their modern counterparts. Yes enjoy and DOCUMENT all footage of these buses alive in photos and videos for historical preservation, since we never have "send off events" for our buses like Japan does with their trains. I'm just GLAD the last Honolulu Gillig Phantoms are still active and seem to be BETTER preserved overall and utilized than the 500s!!
I think all of the 600 series needs to be in Kalihi-Palama bus facility once the 500 are ready to retire

After watching the newly released video about the 500s, sooner or later, these will likely be the good ol memories that we’re glad to share until its end.
Did 506 retired because it hasn’t been active
If that Date of last seen at July 20th remains after few weeks of this month then yeah, that too might succumb to its end too. Bus 516 is also one that is fked and 965 is also in this video and idk what will happen to it as it’s been last seen july 6th this year
Oh naw, by the end of this year, less than half will likely be around at all :(. i It’s been good having them for the 20+ years of working for thebus. And it’s already concerning that next few years will be bus 900s
