Is this "NieR Replicant Drama CD The Lost Words and the Red Sky", released on April 27, 2011. If so, why does it say 'The Sky of the End' instead?

desperately need a game that covers all this material especially the battle against the legion, red eye and any corelation it may have with the watchers. like I want to see this stuff visually, if not in a game at least a special episode or two in the automata anime since it already showed a news clip from the day of the 6/12 incident.

They need to make a Drakengard and Nier Replicant anime and include this in the full Replicant anime, its perfection.

1:11:46 Is that Devola or Popola or someone else speaking? The voice sounds quite different from report 4 but I'm a bit confused because they refer to themselves as observers. Is that just a translation thing (Like they are observers meaning they keep watch of Gestalt Nier, not the actual Observer Androids) or a slip up in VA?

The most terrifying part to me is when the Queen Beast starts to sing everything goes quite, not just the people but the cars, the sirens, and even the fire that you can vaguely make out all go silent, as if the whole world became entranced by the sound. You have to wonder, if white chlorination syndrome is the result of the Queen Beast being stopped, what would have happened if Caim and Angelus had failed or never gone through the portal in the first place, what exactly does the song do?

Oh my god the Queen Beast part is so scary and if it was something that really happened could have leave traumatized. Imagine sky opening up and you see that huge demon looking thing falling down and a huge dragon

This is one hell of "passing of the torch" in any series. Just wish that it wasn't relegated into a drama cd

Thank you so much for making this - as a huge fan of replicant it's great to finally feel like I have a stronger understanding of the story (still definitely a bit confused on some things but oh well) and the CD is very entertaining in general. Also, I really can't tell if Kaine was having sex with that guys corpse or not lmao.

The corpses of victims suffering from chlorination decomposed and fell from the sky... 🤯That's insane, finished the game multiple times but never once cross my mind that the snow is actually something else.

That damn first part makes me feel uneasy even scared hearing the Queen Beast song in the background man Caim and Angelus sure are strong to go against such a monstrosity, also hearing Emil at the boar part sounds like he is already losing his mind i mean Humanity/Replicants are sure to be way past extinct by then, poor Emil.

My perception on the Legion has changed drastically after NieR Reincarnation's reveal of them.

I think she beats up the corpse and the sound of fabric ripping is her pulling his clothes trying to lift him up but because her strength it just tears apart and my guess she's crying couse she's lamenting on why shes so violent on expressing her sadness?

Great Drama CD but most of these subtitles are wrong or are missing details / misheard the Japanese dialogue. Hope somebody writes a better English translation eventually, it deserves it

Does it mean that grandmother whom Kainé loved so much was actually sponsoring the children experiment laboratory which handled Halua and Emil? Or is it just my misunderstanding? Because if it’s like that I find it really disturbing. I wonder if Kainé knew.. but then again she is severly mentally broken character already so more pain here and there probably wouldn’t change much I also wanted to say that the picture of Kainé’s grandmother I have from the game is so different from how she is portrayed here. Almost makes me wonder if it’s the same person? Or was there some significant twist that either wasn’t mentioned or was caused by flow of time?

Now we need some good director to make a movie out of this!

I have never played any Nier games nor anything related to it, I just watched the Drakengard Ending E and liked how surreal it looked, and now listening to this. GODDAMN what a lore this is.

I haven't heard the whole thing because i'm still playing Replicant and i don't want to spoil myself despite how i'm gonna suffer. But i love how vast the lore is and how it connects to Drakengard. I wish this could exists in another format, like a manga, or tv series. There's a lot of stuff to explore, like the Legion, Red Eye, and whatever happened during the thousand year timeskip.

The logic behind Kaines dog name is just... Shiro is more a boy name isnt it, if its derived from Shirayuki wouldnt yukki be more fitting for a girl? Lol I dunno I just I had to do a double take on that bit Also Kaines cursing and attitude makes sense to me now :[ coping mechanism

Now, I fully understand being absolutely terrified when that _thing_ starts causing what we know would be the end of the world, as well as the airforce pilots firing at what they thought was the threat, or at least a contributor. But I wonder... how differently would things have gone, if Caim and Angelus weren't shot down? On the miniscule chance they were able to explain (very important) details to the people of Tokyo, just how many details about the NieR lore would have changed? I fully expect them to be strapped down and vivisected/harvested eventually, and WCS to still happen, but still...

I wish we got one of these as DLC for the remaster. Or at the very least, get an anime/OVA/movie or something.

Yoko Taro was inspired by many things, but one of his real-life inspirations was none other than the events of 9/11. And in the first drama CD, you can hear the resemblance.

Anyone know what the track with all the heavy metal guitars that plays at 1:25:00 while Kainé is killing Shades is called?

Imagine listening to The Queen Beast's Song while your city is being burned to the ground... truly terrifying

It's actually amazing how deep and complex the world of these games are when the game doesn't directly give you any of this information which would illuminate the world so much. It's so perfect for experiencing the game through the perspective of the characters as we are learning the truth in the same enigmatic way piecing the information together as we get little bits of it here and there.
