Elden Ring Build - Beast Warrior

In this build video I show the Beast Warrior build which is a great build to take into the Shadow of the Erdtree. It provides both strong defensive and offensive options, and utilizes a weapon with high damage, and high damage negation, allow you to take full use of its two handed moveset and guarding option. While also having enough faith for strong incantations for range and aoe options. This...

Nightly Tunes - Synthstrom Deluge

An album music video made entierly on the Deluge. Inspired and made on the open source firmware nightly builds, which was recently released as a stable and public release. Check it out, it's awesome! synthstromaudible.github.io/DelugeFirmware/ The video is not me playing the instruments correctly, just sort of playing/pretending along to the music. But all instruments, (except a couple drum sam...
Synthstrom Deluge With Pedals
Просмотров 279Год назад
Another instructional video on using the Synthstrom Deluge together with effect pedals. This time with just the Deluge and pedals alone. Perfect for a small setup, and wanting to add different effects to your music. To avoid ground noise my pedals are powered by a power bank. Which is something I recommend.
Faux Send-Return - Synthstrom Deluge

Deluge Sessions - 01, Featuring: Deluge, Nymphes, Reface CP

After selling and some gear and other equipment I was able to afford a second hand Deluge, and have a setup that I am currently super happy with. That feels like I can continue to explore for years to come. Here are the results of some early noodling with my instruments, being recorded and arranged on the Deluge. I haven't been filming myself this time, so enjoy some photos of my local mountain...

This time I did not record the entire process, only playing out the song on the Rhythm Hope you enjoy.
Wow!
Thank you
Nice lil grove! It’s very quiet though compared to other RUclips videos just fyi
Oof, thats on me for forgetting to normalize the audio before upload. Thanks for the heads up 😅
Terrific!
Thanks! Hopefully this is still helpful!Luckily, even though it's probably still far down the line. There are devs working with audio over USB. This would mean in the future. We can setup proper send returns on the deluge in combination with the line in, and audio over USB, either through an interface or a computer. Very exciting. And once that happens I will obviously make a new video showcasing how to use this.
Just what I needed, Thank you.
Deluuuuuuge
Niiiiiice
Nice teaser! So many features to learn/test (and so many more already slated for 1.3)
Hey! Absolutley! It was a bit weird going back to 1.2, as I've gotten quite used to the nightly, but it was fun to try to make a song that highlighted some of the bigger changes made in Chopin.
@@ChromaticFramerø I understand completely, as I've gone back to 1.2 and miss so many things I've already gotten used to from the nightly versions. Ha
Please help the devs out by testing the release candidate! synthstromaudible.github.io/DelugeFirmware/ Report any bugs you find, but most important of all: Have fun with the new amazing firmware that is built entirely out of passion and volunteer work. The Deluge and its community is one of a kind.
So nice live performance and great sound!
Thank you! Acoustic pianos always sound great I think ,😁
Excellent! Always love seeing acoustic piano with the Deluge. I need to do that more often
It's allot of fun! Piano, with some nice Delay, the Mutable Reverb and GrainFX often has me sitting and playing and just enjoying the sound. Not necessarily making anything it just sounds so beautiful that I get captivated, haha.
@@ChromaticFramerø it sounds lovely. Very inspiring!
This is absolutely fantastic, and actually solves a bug problem for me when looping my modular system. Super keen to try this out. Thanks! 😊 (great song too btw, thoroughly enjoyed that!)
@@RSKT_music Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it! And yes, the new clip types really cleans up the workflow when working with external instruments. Making it much more seamless.
This is a great lil rundown of these new audio features! Thanks for showing, definitely excited to try these out myself. How do you save the template as the default start track? Thanks!
Good Question! The feature needs to be enabled, its actually added in the 1.2 beta currently. To enable it go to: SHIFT + SELECT : MENU > DEFAULTS > STARTUP SONG Then you can choose if you want it to boot with the last song opened, last song saved, or a blank song (how it functions currently) or boot with Template. This will create a song called default. Use this as your template song, and edit it with the parameters you want, and that will be your default song.
Just to clear up two things: i mix up some terms, and use channel and clip interchangeable in this vid. Just know that when I say channel, im talking about clips. There are three audio clip types that have been added, Sampler, looper and player. I only explained the sampler type in this vid. Looper will function how an audio track with monitoring engaded worked before. Where it will keep monitoring the audio even after you record audio into it. Perfect if you for instance only have one instrument youre looping or want to keep overdubbing or recording new loops. Player will just playback the audio in the clip, but wont monitor any incoming audio. You can still record audio into it though. Cheers!
that nymphes looks tasty...you like?
Haha! Yes the Nyphes is a beautiful synth, its a joy to play and program, it really shines with some external effects in my opinion, like some drive, chorus and delay. But it is very versatile, does pads, basses, leads, keys, plucks and everything in between. And it has a distinct character, so I think it blends really well into my setup of acoustic and electric instruments.
thank you for sharing. I enjoyed.
I'm really happy to hear that!
I like this!
I'm happy to hear you enjoyed it!
One important thing I should have mentioned! The Deflecting Hardtear which allows you to actualy deflect attacks can be found by defeating the first Furnace Golem you see in Gravesite plains. All the footage you see are in ng+ and dlc+
Not bad at all!
Thank you!
Always love to find a talented small youtuber, hope your channel thrives man!
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoy the content so far, I've got a couple more videos planned, should be coming out in not too long 👍
Nice build, but it's pretty clear from the footage you have too little endurance, since you get guard broken several times. I'd consider increasing it to 30-35-ish at least. Other than that it looks good. I might try it.
Absolutely a good option. You can easily reduce the amount of Faith in this build too. If you don't need golden vow, going down to 20 faith gets you to an early damage softcap, and still have access to some strong and fun incantations. You could then add some more points in endurance and strength. (If you want to stay at 150) If you're okay with going above getting to around 35 endurance and 66 strengt is probably more ideal.
Ive been wanting to do something akin to this since launch are you running the deflection tear?
@@elijahouldhouse5706 The Deflecting Hardtear is fantastic with this build, with the high damage negation and guard boost the penalty for missing a deflect is really low. I don't use it all the time for this bulld since the cleaver is good enough to just block on its own without the deflecting tear. But I definitely needed it for defeating PCR my first time for instance.
The reason I'm not doing a ton of damage to bosses is because this is dlc+ ng+ where bosses and enemies are balanced around having 20 scadutree blessings all the way through.
Yeeee interesting 😊
Super chilled feel dude 🎧 Great jam 🎧✨
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!
The deluge community is a fine one, I appreciate the inventiveness here 🎧✨✨
Haha! Jupp you gotta work with what you've got 😅
@@ChromaticFramerø very true 👌☺️
Thanks for this mate I just got a canyon effects pedal and wasnt sure how to set it up. This helped alot
I'm really happy it was helpful! Did you get it to work with the canyon? I think external delays are pretty ideal to use since the internal delay eats up quite allot of CPU. While the reverb is a bit less intensive since its a universal bus.
@@ChromaticFramerø yeh it worked but for some reason the audio level coming back into the deluge from the pedal is really low for some reason. I think maybe something wrong with the pedal
@@enensis Hmm, you can always try to adjust the levels by cranking the main output on the deluge up a bit, and the also add some gain on the incoming audio tracks (the gold knob area where it says level and pan) this should hopefully give you a bit more audio. You can also test the pedal by sending just the deluge audio into it, and then try to listen to the pedal output through an amp, headphones or something of the sort. Hope this helps! The canyon is a really cool effect pedal so I hope you get it to work!
@@ChromaticFramerø thanks for the tips. I did however try hooking up my microfreak to the pedal directly and had a my headphones on the output and had the same issue.
@@enensis Aww, thats a shame, sorry to hear that. Always sucks when new equipment doesn't work 😞
Thanks for posting this, it’s exactly what I was looking for!
No worries! I'm happy it was helpful. When I made this, I guessed maybe like 10 people out there in the world would find this useful. Glad you were one of them.
Love seeing how other people have interact with their deluge. Thanks for this!
Thanks for checking it out! The Deluge is such a versatile and flexible machine it allow for such diversity and creativity. I'm hoping to make some more videos of music making. Hope that will be of interest.
If you are looking for the second method... I lied. I tried getting it to work (panning a synth all the way to the right - sending the left output to a pedal, and sending the pedal into the line in, and monitoring the left. input). It somewhat works, but you end up getting feedback, and it just does not sound great. You can record audio without monitoring to avoid the feedback. But its not ideal. Sorry for getting your hopes up. Here is hoping that in the future, Synthstrom will create another hardware updated, maybe replacing some of the gate-cv I/O with audio and maybe a send return.
Deluge delay and reverb send stereo regardless of panning. I find a dry hard panned signal doesn't bleed into the other side.
@@girlinagale I might be wrong here, but if you turn of the stereo on the delay, panning will effect it. But the reverb won't since its a a universal bus that all tracks are sent to. Hence why you can only have one "type" of reverb on a song. While the delay is independent. I did end up making a vid showing how you can use the deluge together with pedals only though. But I do find that there is some bleeding between tracks even when doing hard panning so it's not ideal. But it works. Again my biggest wish is for a dedicated send return on the deluge itself. I would happily sacrifice some of the gate/cv connectors for that. ruclips.net/video/8hEmPUiQnSI/видео.htmlsi=v-Q4YlvhJ7vuO7he
So cool. I wish I have those piano skillz! Keep it up man! 👌🔊😎
like the Indian vibe with the tabla. Bit like Blancmange band sound
