Painting for screen is a secret?
Can you comment on the pros/cons of electrostatic paint and application for pool enclosures? I noticed it wasn't mentioned so I assume your company does not use this method?
As a previous pro painter, electrostatic paint application is more for things like balusters on railings etc. Where you have many and/or complicated surfaces and most of the mist of the paint just blows right past it. If you can run an electric charge through the material, the mist can be charged to instead bond to the material and not just blow past it. For something like a pool cage, this wouldn't really be a benefit, except on corners or specific complicated builds. The railings on the cage are very widely spaced apart, and easily accessing all the surfaces isn't an issue.
What is the name or brand of the paint that you use I would like to do a little research on the chemicals
Benjimane Moore DTM
Calling some bs on this company 304 stainless is 304 stainless theres no marine grade of it. Sherwin Williams direct to metal DTM paint is a 100% acrylic WATER BASED paint. It is explicitly stated on Sherwin William’s official website. Power blasting? There’s no such thing. It’s called pressure washing there’s a pressure gauge with commercial power washers to reduce the pressure coming out of the nozzle. Homeowners don’t be fooled by this made up lingo. I wouldn’t trust a company that isn’t forthcoming about their work or the materials and products they use. In the video they are spraying the landscaping plants covering them in overspray that is not professional. Contractors climbing the cage like monkeys is unprofessional and is dangerous to roll in screen. I would not hire.
Power blasting is different than regular power washing. Hmm, he's still using a white tip. Just a change of words for advertising. I'd never hire this company just on the way they redirected reality.
A white tip takes a little longer than a green tip, but the "Reality" is at 4600 psi both will do, but we use a custom made tip now. That video is around 3 years old.
It could also just be the semantics of Joe Average Consumer. Power "washing" might simply be a quick once-over to remove simple surface dirt/algae. Power "blasting", even with the white tip, can be done in such a was as to concentrate on removing more material from problem areas (actual paint that's flaking from the substrate). If you've ever done pressure washing for more than an hour, you should know that there is a world of variance in any given job. That's all I'm seeing here, regardless of tip color.
i'm very impressed with the example of your work and quality of materials in the video.
Thank you very much! Were always trying to find ways to improve our business!
Please call for an estimate is th best advice prices range from 4k to 8 k depending on the size and many other things.call 941-400-0662
How much does this cost approximately. I’d like to do ours in the future
I'm assuming the screens would handle hurricane-force winds, but not flying tree debris?
