The WII version was my first experience for this game. I was still a kid and it still looked awesome. Then I watched a trailer for the xbox version and my mind was blown. I've always wanted to go in that theater. All the things that I wanted to experience finally being available felt like a sequel to me and made the game even better. Super nostalgic game and among my top 10.

According to the modding community, frank jumping out of the helicopter was supposed to cause this limp-like walk, and was going to play a bigger part in the story, capcom scrapped the idea and just kept the walk without really explaining it so they didn't need to make another walk animation cycle, so you were correct! 😁

Idk if people commented about this before, but it’s weird that you’re complaining about the money system in this game and not saying a word about DR2’s. I mean I get that two different zombie outbreaks happened at that point of the series, but still, the looters are acting way too chill in that game

I remember when I first tried to save 8 female survivers at once for the trophy, I didn't save the guy after fighting the clown because I didn't even know he was there, & it was hard AF because I had to deal with the convicts but I actually managed to save all 8 until the last min when one wandered off and got herself killed 😢

Technically it’s only Willamette that’s ending in the first Dead Rising game, so if Cletus made it out with all that money that you wind up paying him for Leon’s old hand me down weapons from Resident Evil 4, he’s in a good place financially despite losing his business due to the way that the zombie apocalypse is contained at the end of the game. 😂

The major issue I see is honestly the lighting. It made the hair look grey in the early mall scene which doesn't sit right with me. Then they outright changed Larry. Don't know who that is now. Might be a new guy all together. Also why the hell are they like this? They put Resident Evil onto A MOBILE DEVICE. Nobody wants that. Why are they like this? That and Frank's old look being pre-order exclusive doesn't sit right with me... I'm still going to get it but it just doesn't sit right with me. I'd be nice if it was just unlockable after beating the game or something.

Super late to the party here, but the reason for the sectioned off paths around the mall are because of the zombie limitations. If you were at a split path, and both paths were open to you, there would clearly be an easy route because of the lack of zombies on screen at a time. So what the game is doing by sectioning paths off is basically trying to push you into the zombies.

the Wii version of RE4 is Basicliy the Nintendo Gamcube version so yk u are playing basicly the GC version of DR1 xD

I bought this game solely because I wanted to play Dead Rising and I was staying at my second mom’s house for the week and we only had my Wii (My 360 was at my other mom’s house). Despite this port’s flaws, I still enjoyed this version
