All errors, defects, tool failures, and miscues are shown. Still a great catch and a successful release. Sadly I forgot to place my tag, I didn't like the color the fish was getting and was in a hurry to get her back swimming.

Only one sun rises over the Atlantic Ocean, but Men on both sides enjoy Fishing equally. When the day brings clear, clean water and bright sunshine, lighter rods and fine line can improve your catch. This four-piece travel rod goes with me everywhere I travel and had the backbone to bring this 70 cm Sea Bass to the net. This rod has fished in Texas, New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Virginia,...

The girl make her father proud
Hell of a catch!!! Wishing the Mrs would let me out this weekend! 😂
Awesome!
I tried just getting back in on my fully rigged outback this weekend and I couldn't do it. Going to try a paddle float
Come on Marc, 15 minutes of lite callisentics a day will get you back in the boat in less than a month. Keep stretching, everyday
Me too. Between my belly. My PFD and being 60 with so much upper body strength loss. My Paddle Float arrives today!
Awesome work Bob…, but we know it’s not work.
Hmmm, notice I'm using lighter gear to keep pressure off the carpals... :)
Bob getting it done!
Thank you Bernie !
Very nice 👌
Thank you! Cheers!
excellent
Thanks!
Happy farmer
Nice Job Bob!!!!!!!!
Great Video! Thanks!
Thanks, I encourage every capable fisher to use their skills to add to the knowledge, support science and best conservation practices. I do keep some fish to eat. I am a conservationist not a preservationist.
Get or make a good Bumpboard.
Most excellent catch!
Glad you enjoyed it. We caught Bass 4", 12", 14.5" 15" and 17.5/ Pickerel, Warmouth and some good sunfish
Next time just pop the cork LOL
My wife's friends got into crafts, they put Christmas lights inside the bottles for decorations. I just answered their question on how to get the power into the bottle.
Bird thinks Bob is TASTY!
I wanted to give him a nice launch from the palm of my hand. It was pretty neat that so many of his flock gathered around until he was free.
Thanks so much for your video and the insight you provide. I'm 68 and though a kayak would easily fit my angling needs, the safety issue is my main concern especially fishing alone. In my area, the lakes are easily 50ft deep and home to lots of powerboats, high-power bass boats and personal watercraft that combined with wind make for lots of wave action that I assume could easily flip me when tying into a striper or other large fighting fish. I bought a 12' inflatable pontoon (foldcat) but it's more of a two man craft and the loaded weight (with trolling motor and battery is around 150lbs) and from truck to lake wears me out before I even start fishing. I'm now thinking wading the rivers streams and creeks feeding these lakes may be a more rewarding angling experience for me. I do see that hobie now has a 48lb kayak that could be better for us older anglers.
I understand, To me, batteries and electric motors are for boats. I am a big water fisherman. The Hobie Outback is my first choice boat for ocean work. My wife loves the 36-pound Hobie i-11s, The new Lynx comes in about that also. Buying a Kayak is like buying a pair of shoes. Get one that fist you. Have Fun
I have the Lynx and wouldn't trade it for anything. I've had the PA 14 and Solo Skiff and this feels more stable
Lol
Thanks
Great video of 2 options for recovery. I can't do the rear entry due to my knee replacement and can't crawl or kneel. Thank you both for this. Keep up the gigs work. 👍
Glad to help, I'm old enough not to care what I look like so much. No senior citizens were harmed in the making of this video
This is why a PFD is better than a life jacket is less of a hindrance in self recovery if my opinion
The inflatable life jacket is designed to keep an unconscious person's head above water. It is also less bulky than a hard-body life jacket. IMHO I imagine the only way I would be upside down is if I was unconscious and for fishing, I like the smaller size of an inflatable. The cartridge on these vests has an expiration date. I burned this one before replacing it with a new one. It was tight around my neck, but it did its job. I will continue to wear it. because I am used to it and I doubt I will ever need it anyway. If I do I have confidence it will do its job
Yeah, that's how ya do it!
Well done!
Very nice Job, looking good
Thanks 👍
Very impressive catch and release. Congratulations Bpb. Quite a lot of effort undertaken by a man in his 70's. 👋
Indeed!
Trolling a metal lip around the marsh banks?
Waahooooo!🙂
Yeah buddy 🪝🪝🪝🪝
Nice catch. Winds and white caps wasn’t a concern out there?
Of course, all water is a concern, calm or rough, same respect. My friend is just starting out. He gained valuable experience in navigation and seamanship.
Excellent!
Glad you liked it!
Nice one, Bob!
Glad you enjoyed it
That's a nice fish, where were you fishing? Thats not Jersey, well not any Jersey that I saw anyway! Yup, nice fish
Yup its NJ. right near home
I wish i was there fishing with you with all my heart, Bob. I wish i was fishing anywhere. Broke my wrist last month, wear a cast til Nov6. I had back surgery, last Jan, Laminectomies on L3-4-5, fusion, 2 rods, 6 screws and a spacer. Took three years for aporoval, killed my sciatic nerve. Now a constant dull ache all the way down to my ankle. It sucks. Haven't been North shore since you were here. Haven't fished in years, really. But I feel like I might start when my cast comes off. Made a cupla Oama poles from the bamboo you planted. I gave a couple away, met some guys from a friend, they got a cupla sportfishers 30' and 35' right at their house on Kam highway just before Hygienic store, they got 80 feet of dock and an old, old 150 yards long channel they keep open to access deep water. The Oama pile up near their docks and there wasnt enough bamboo poles so i made some for them and they love me now. Invite me to come over anytime, if I like go offshore Im welcome. So moving slow yet, ill get there, oama is fine to start. Thanks for sending me the vid Bob, keep your tip up, and drag smooth. Like you taught me.
Fishing heals.
Awesome!
Thanks!
That look on your face:),, he went fluke on you
Thanks Jay, I have to remember put the fish down on his right side, and not rollhim over.
