When testing smoke alarms by pressing the test button you actually only forcing the sounder on. Smoke alarms really should be tested by using canned smoke . I have tested thousands of smoke alarms and many don't sound when when smoke is sprayed into them. the smoke alarms will try to sound but they won't always sound , they will sound lightly or not at all, but if you press the test button it will sound .

Is it really impossible to get this thing to just be on constantly at a steady tempereature??? I DONT want a thermostat to turn it off when it reaches a certain temperature, I want the water temperature to be at a point where if its on constantly without any change or fluctuation, my home will be between 17-20 degrees, is this IMPOSSIBLE TO DO WITH THIS PIECE OF CRAP TECH!?

That is not a stopcock valve, it is a subsidiary valve to feed a washing machine or dishwasher - this guy knows nothing about plumbing.

This was an exact replacement for the old one that lasted about 10 years. ruclips.net/user/postUgkx7yWIKcrbA9KMHkGSfcgxW2lsjHT6B8Sh The top of my mitigation tube by my roofline was just a 90 elbow which allowed too much debris to fall down into the fan, eventually ruining it. Without this issue, I bet it would have kept running another 10 years. When I replaced this fan, I added an extra elbow joint so the top tube now it does a 180, which should solve that problem. The radon guys around here wanted to charge me a $300 diagnostic fee, then parts/labor (probably close to $600 total). I installed this all by myself in about an hour for the cost of the fan; it would probably be even easier/faster with two people. FYI the manufacturer's warranty greatly differs depending on whether you install it yourself (1 yr warranty) or have a licensed installer do it (10 yrs).

hi sorry for the random/stupid question.. im looking to install a heat alarm incase of fire.. would you happen to know how 'big' a fire would need to be in a room for the alarm to go off? I understand its around 53 degree C but unsure what this is in terms of size of fire (hard to answer depending on room etc i guess)
