Hey there. Nice report. Regarding the pictures and video, as a Portuguese person, I do know people don't appreciate being on camera without a previous request and an explanation of what the footage is for. In this case, you mentioned "personal use", but this content has been posted on social media, which means, has you know, it can be seen worldwide. I put myself in that airline stewardess place and, to be honest, I'm not sure I would like to be confronted with a random passenger filming myself at work. I work in broadcast and I can tell you it can easily be frown upon. Same thing happens with bus drivers, inside trains, even shopping centers. Not sure if this is a good or bad thing, but it's just how the country works. I was once called out by a TAP steward because I was filming the take off focusing on the window and the head of service politely came and showed me this IATA manual that clearly state that airlines should prevent passengers from using cameras during either the entire flight or take off and landing for "security reasons". I believe that is no longer the case, but I could be wrong. Anyway, I believe this is a matter of cultural differences.

if they run 2816 in the lead again, maybe they can do a crossing sequence split between both whistles. 2 "long" on 1 whistle and "1 short, 1 long" on the other. and then if the horn on the F-unit (or whatever accompanying unit(s)) are usable, maybe they can each do (or split ) the crossing sequence too.

Do most of the TAP air jets have power plugs or USB with power delivery in economy class? Due to take a flight on TAP later this year and will be flying Economy and would be great to charge my phone and tablet while in flight (it's a long flight).

Mate, last time I was on that train(back to Michigan City when working out of Kalamazoo) was 2006 and it looks like that train hasn’t been maintained or cleaned since then. The extra space in back is for the seats the 145 is supposed to have, Contour is Scheduled Charter, only allowed to have a Max of 3seats ❤ a 145 should have 45 seats thus the number 145, 135 is supposed t have 35, seats, Max is 30 for Contour.

I take the South Shore Line train into Chicago once a week and pass right through this train station…I had no idea there was a freight flyover above our tracks, and definitely didn’t realize this all happened underneath McCormick place.

What goes wrong with a locomotive that makes it economically unfeasible to keep using? I really don't know much about them.

My hometown of Winnetka. I love this station very clean compared to Hubbard Woods.

I have to say this, of all the regional airlines, Skywest is by far the best. They have amazing pilots and their flight attendants are phenomenal. I never understand passengers that get upset at the airlines or the workers for obvious weather delays such as this. It’s very good to have people like you that do understand it’s not their fault whatsoever. And for you to have the patience to sit through it is remarkable!

Contour is a Part 135 carrier and under this contract they are allowed to carry up to 37 passengers, that is why there are seats removed in this ERJ-145.

Our time from wheels down to taxi to the gate at Nashville was longer than the flight. If you don't have something time sensitive like a connecting flight, its nice. My experience would not make me comfortable to depend on no travel hiccups without a 5-6 hour margin. The drive from Cape to Nashville being 4 hours would give you time to give up on them and still have time to make the drive.
