This was such a great game! Slightly more forgiving handling with the BTCC cars compared to the original game. Then the medley of support car championships made for an enthralling experience!

The castrol mugen accord is infact JTCC - it won the 1997 championship the civic is based on the mooncraft from 1995 JTCC (it was replaced by the accord and mooncraft took the title in 1996) Edit: the blue primera is the legendary calsonic impul primera, it’s a JTCC and the Peugeot at Rome is intact an unusual Super touring car. It’s a spa 24 hour entrant usually won by the BMWs usually

Yes the Fiesta Credit Championship was a support race for the Touring Cars. I have one of the cars as raced by Colin Turkington

I've managed it back in the day. But you need the better car - Nissan. I always struggled at Thruxton which meant the first round was hard work.

Mate expert is brutal. It took me and a few mates months to complete the expert championship. We basically broke it down into taking some tracks each. Mine was Silverstone brands hatch and Snetterton. As a FYI, later in the championship you go back to Thruxton but it's pouring of rain. It's like racing on an ice rink. Something to look forward to 😂😂😂

Try a season with the "can't be fired" cheat on, perhaps? Would be interesting to see how you progress!

Nice stuff. Expert is just 26 races instead of 18, I can't remember whether the difficulty is actually any more. However maybe use the Nissan to get through it. Personally I always used the Vauxhall though it seemed balanced but maybe that was just in my head!

First corner, first lap is the worst! Went surprisingly well on Round 9! Last corner lunge was funny, so close! 🏁

Fun to see this game back, just wish you were better at it...and make it more challenging. So easy to win. Start every race from the back of the grid, proper challenge.

Rubbing/banging wheel against the Ai, although extremely tempting can really screw you over. Best to avoid them as much as you can

You also need to use manual transmission

I love the change of mood and your growing confidence from previous TOCA 2 videos to now. Before you were all about "hopefully we get some points" to now wanting to finish the race 1st or 2nd :)) These TOCA series are very cool to watch, exciting and relaxing at the same time and your commentary is pleasant and authentic. Please try higher difficulty, other cars, etc, this is a very interesting watch for me :))

never understood why they only made a couple of these..just imagine if they released TOCA game now.....

Hi. You need to score minimum 15 points across the sprint and feature race for each circuit for the championship to continue. Otherwise it's over. That's why it said you had to finish 1st in the feature cos you didn't score any in the sprint. Also if you think the AI is tough on standard, wait till you try expert. Think it's 24 rounds you have to complete.

I loved Toca 2, but after a change in Windows 10 I can no longer play it - it won't even install.

Mate. I played toca and toca 2 and loved both games so great to watch this again. Just a tip, in the feature race, to know if the car in front has pitted, there is a yellow stripe on the side window which comes off after the pit stop.

Anyway, can you adjust your gearbox to have longer gears for higher top speed? That would help a lot on this track since you could grab valuable seconds on the straights

This seems very hard. Even getting through the checkpoints in time is hard. Finishing in podium position seems to be impossible.
