Aboard N8867Q, we made the landing into KSMF Sacramento Int’l following the SLMMR5 STAR with DONNR transition. This arrival puts you just south of Lake Tahoe, which is clearly visible from the starboard side of the plane. I neglected to record any footage of that view.

if you keep practicing, your shot composition will improve.
@@paulcampbell7063 I record these videos for fun, and upload to RUclips so I can free up space on my phone. I’m not too worried about shot composition or being a professional; it’s simply a hobby and I figure other people can check out my videos if they want. I didn’t expect over 20k views, and it seems enough people are fine with how it is. I’m mostly here for the sounds anyway, the video portion is just added immersion.

Going to guess you are LAX or SNA bound. Made the right turn. Nice and typical bumpy exit from LAS. Beautiful day!
Actually was headed home to SMF! Always a fun one. Typically I do end up at SNA out of LAS though.

I was on N8870K 3 months ago out of Vegas to PDX after a 3 hour delay and it did a full throttle takeoff as well
Which seat is this?? Im on a MAX tomorrow.
@@DevonRyan-8 4F with southwest! I recommend row 4 for the -800/MAX 8, and row 2 for the -700/MAX 7. Well, until they revamp their cabin with the new assigned seating in 2026.
@@tyredcar03 I got this seat into MDW today! Best view in the house (imo)
@@DevonRyan-8 good stuff!
My son in law and his dad both worked at Boeing and won't set foot on a 737 Max...neither will I a former airline employee before I changed careers into healthcare. Nice flight video though.
@@nordic27 there’s definitely a lot of skepticism revolving around the MAX family, and I understand the concern you and your family have. Me personally, I believe it’s a beautiful airframe, and I’ll take the risk for the comfort and technology it provides. However, I’d never force someone to take a trip in it, or fault them for being hesitant to do so.
@tyredcar03 just returned back to Sacramento from Hawaii on a max on southwest Airlines, nice plane.
There are several BBJ in Max8 version so if the richest people around the world keep buying it must be a good aircraft after all

@@xiaomiplayz6557 real. WN937 on 10/09/2024, KLAS-KSMF.
I can’t think of an airline announcement more horrible, unprofessional and IDC than in any of the USA based airlines.
@@Saa42808 it’s part of the Southwest culture to be laid back and have fun. Part of that is with the announcements: it doesn’t matter how you say it, as long as it doesn’t tarnish the company image. As long as you say what is required you’re good. It helps to engage people when you have fun with it, especially with the shorter attention spans these days.

Boo hiss! SWA is chill. Flown almost 800k on SWA. Almost have never had an issue.

@@cjquin81 they had just demolished it the morning of this takeoff! I meant to go see it, but fell asleep way early 😂
@@tyredcar03 Prayers to all from Florida!
Great capture! This seems to be 26K max, not the bump. Most definetely full power though! Wonderful video!!!
This is reduced 27K, wonderful video though!
This is AWESOME! Just one thing- it seems like full 24K. I don't think Southwest has 26K Bump on the -700, but if they do thats so awesome!
@@inflight_aviation can each airline order specific thrust settings? As far as I was aware, all -700’s came fitted with the CFM56-7B24, which could provide a 26k bump takeoff when needed. If airlines can change that, then there’s something new I didn’t know!
@@tyredcar03 yup! So all the -700 operators that I know of have a fixed max derate of 24K thrust. I’ve heard Alaska can bump theirs to 26K only if sent through ACARS, so it’s not selectable and only happens once in a blue moon. Southwest has 737-700s fixed to 24K and all takeoffs are performed with 24K thrust with an assumed temperature (if available). Southwest doesn’t allow fixed derates, (22K or 20K) so it’s either an assumed temp or full 24K. The -800s have 27K bump available if sent through dispatch and rarely happens, usually the max power is a 26K with bleeds off. And out of SNA Southwest is the last remaining airline to do the full noise abatement procedure still, with max power (24K on the -700 and 27K on the -800) and the -700s use flaps 10 and the -800s use flaps 25. Also just for your knowledge, United’s 737-824SFPs have 27K bump available only if sent by dispatcher, same for Delta and American on the -800s, and on Alaska it is selectable anytime. Cheers!
@@inflight_aviation wow, that’s great info! My knowledge on that comes mostly thru flight sim. While the addon I use is pretty in depth, it doesn’t model any of that so I had no clue. Thanks so much for the info!
@@tyredcar03 gotcha, yeah the MSFS 737s all have the bump option so that makes sense!
@inflight_aviation to be fair I fly the PMDG add-on, but still same story 😂

GE LEAP 1B engine.
@@_Coffee4Closers mostly correct-the official manufacturer is CFM, a joint venture between GE Aerospace and Safran of France. It is indeed a LEAP-1B.

I’m need help if any May. So i have the 2.5l inline 4 Subaru legacy outback and I’m wanting to do uel headers but not sure which ones correctly fit
I miss my old outback, had it lowered and straight piped just to have rust kill it😂
Did you just buy the pipe or did you make the piping for the exhaust delete?? Im just trying to do the same thing you know
need to do this this to mine
I’m going to do this to my 99 Outback when I put a new engine in it
sounds like my car after the exhaust rusted away
It be like that
@@tyredcar03 23 year old car moment. I will say, the engine in these cars sound excellent
Are you running the stock resignators and cats?
Yes stock resonator and cats, just had the muffler chopped off by a shop. They welded a piece of tube with a tip for a true muffler delete. However these cars have 2.25” tubing and it’s pretty raspy so I’m debating going up to 2.5” or 2.75”, removing the resonator and having a hi-flow muffler installed. That’s all if I keep the car 🤣
This sounds awesome did you end up wrapping the headers in heat wrap or did you just keep them bare?
I kept em bare, didn’t seem to affect anything. YMMV
How did you go a muffler delete and still have a pipe to the tip
Muffler shop
@@tyredcar03 I see they changed the mounting brackets and then did they have to turn it or something to make it fit?
I still think my outback with the nameless exhaust system sounds like a WRX and I love it. Just my 2 cents I’ll up load a video one of these days
Try nameless performance exhaust pipe sounds a ton better more like a WRX. I have one on my outback sounds really good
Do you have a link?
do you still have a resonator ?
Yes
I have flown Southwest several times and they’re the best!
Link to uel headers?
I found mine on Wish for a 02-07 Impreza, make sure to get the correct one for your engine because the 2.0 and 2.2 have single exhaust ports on the head, the 2.5 has 2 per head
So the 02-07 Impreza will fit on an 03 outback 2.5?
Very interesting! Liked and subbed ;)
Perfectttttt😀😁😀😀😀
Where'd you get the headers and how easy was the installation? Any torque increase?
They’re actually Wish headers 😂😂 as long as they’re for a late 90’s/early 2000’s era EJ25, you should be set. Just make sure to use OEM gaskets as the ones provided are cheaper than FelPro and will burn up and cause exhaust leaks. No noticeable torque difference, however I haven’t gotten tuned for anything yet. I’m sure after a tune it’ll bring forward any differences, as Subaru motors are picky about flow changes without a tune.
@@tyredcar03 so any jdm ej25 exhaust will fit? Also or just headers?
I need go know we’re you got these headers I have a wrx catback on my 02 outback and this will be perfect
Surprisingly I found them on Wish 🤣 do NOT use the included gaskets, they are terrible and will burn up and cause leaks. Much easier to go to a parts store and get some Felpro ones or just go to your dealer and get OE ones. Out the door I spent $195 on them. Getting them on is a bit of a bitch, you have to do a bit of prying and stretching to get them over the exhaust head studs but after that it’s a direct bolt. Just look up 02-07 Impreza 2.5 UEL headers and some listings should pop up
Sounds so good
Just the rear muffler? Sounds nice mate
Yessir, just a simple muffler delete :) resonators are still intact. As of now the headers have been upgraded but she’s still got cats and resonators!
@@tyredcar03 You should hollow out your cats and do the dorman non fouler 02 sensor coupler mod so you don't get check engine lights and can pass emissions. I did it to my 06 legacy gt along with other upgrades like bigger turbo, larger injectors, larger fuel pump, 3" cobb down pipe, 2" stainless less up pipe and more. I'm about to do a muffler delete and get these uel headers as well for mine off wish as well lol. Thanks for the tip off, sounds great. Would love to hear a video of you revving it. And just to fuck with people at meets in gonna put a bee r rev limiter mod on the outback as well so I can shoot some flames and make em think twice about the ole 2.5.....lmao
Would my H6 sound like this? 2004
What engine does this car have
EJ251, 2.5L H-4, since this video I installed unequal length headers, I’ll have to upload a video of that!
