Great 🎶 Tongue blocking is still difficult for me 🙃
@@Harmione Thank you! Yeah, tongue blocking is tricky but so worth it! I'm still learning it myself, still trying to get blow bends down 🙏😊🎶
@@ramblin_harp Keep up the good work !
I'm feelin' you! Took a while for me too. One wouldn't think so, but this is a tricky one. You're almost there though.
@@patrikduller8449 I know, it's not to complicated as far as bends but it gets a little tricky in the part I messed up on. Watch the video Jason plays it acoustically with the photo montage, it is so inspiring! I get goosebumps listening/watching it! Thanks Mad Dog for checking it out 🙏😎🎶 ruclips.net/video/3_2Lby-F3MI/видео.htmlsi=7A2uG-cM40Na_35l
@@ramblin_harp I know, I watched it like a million times😎
@patrikduller8449 Yup, me too! I'll put it on loop sometimes! 😅🎶😎👊
Sehr schön. Ein schönes Lied aus alten Zeiten. 👍👏👏👏
@@Harmonica-Rudi Thank you my friend 🙏🎶🙌
amazing sound! try to hold the notes for more like legato! do not rush
Thanks my friend 🙏 I'm working on holding the notes longer, these are all inhale arpeggios. Thanks for the tip, I have been just trying to remember them and do the exercise. But yes, slowing down and taking my time will build on them I'm sure! Thanks again brother 🙏🎶🙌
@@ramblin_harp ❤❤❤
Sounding good! Give yourself time.😎
@@patrikduller8449 Thanks Patrick, yes it comes together with practice. I gotta get used to making videos, I can play something fine and then when making a video I flub it up 🤦♂️😅 I guess it will get better with practice to 🙏😎🙌
Sounds great, my friend!!
@@xaviqueroblues Thank you my friend! 🙏🎶
Good Morning! (at least here in Germany)
@@patrikduller8449 Good Morning! It's now morning here in the USA, have a great day! 😎🎶🙌
Not a member so I can't judge. You sound good though. If I were your teacher, I'd be so proud of how far you've come! :)
@@patrikduller8449 Well thank you Patrick! I messed with it last night for a bit then recorded it, it's a little off at the end I think I put in an extra note. But I think it came out pretty close, Ronnie will post the tab in a while and I can check it to see how I did. Thanks again Mad Dog Duller! 🙏🙌

Interesting lick. Is that classic Marineband?
@@patrikduller8449 Thanks Mad Dog! Yes, Marine Band 1896 in Bb. I went to Clarksdale last March and met Deak Harp. He hooked me up and customized it. Flat sanded the draw side of the comb, gapped the draw notes and embossed the draw slots. It's my best playing harp!
@@ramblin_harp Ah cool 😎
Das ist gut. Wirklich gut.
Eine gute Übung.

Man you're making so much progress!
Thank MD! Things are just starting to click finally I guess? And I do try to practice a lot, I found I gotta stick with a few things and not try to learn new licks/songs every day! 🙏💙🎶😎
@@ramblin_harp Yeah, I can hear it.😎

Thanks Patrick, it comes together slowly but surely! 🎶😉🙌
Yeah, man!! Great harp performance, my friend!
Thanks brother! 🙏
Hallo. Gut. Wirklich gut. 👍👍👍
Thank you! 🙏🎶👋
You're making progress. Playing a session steel?
Thanks Patrick! I bought a few Session Steel's a while ago because of the longer lasting stainless reeds. But I think I like the sound and feel of a Hohner better. It takes a lot more air to play the Seydel's and the bends are harder. They have their place for certain tunes and have a mellower sound. But I'll probably stick with Hohner 😁
@@ramblin_harp I'm completely on the same page there. I just prefer the responsiveness (is that even a word? 😀) of brass reeds.
@@patrikduller8449 Yes, responsiveness is a word! And yes that describes it perfectly! 💯🙌

Hallo, ich war heute hier. Ich komme bald wieder. :-)
Awesome man 😎 love Summertime!! Great tone 👏
Thanks man, appreciate it!
Nice! Well done!😎
That was great! Well done !
Thank You 🙏
This is just great. Your chromatic on Summertime sounded cool bye the way. And this too. Dixie who Abraham Lincoln loved wanted to use it for the North. Maybe he was just kidding might be a cool one for you.
Thanks Jon, I've been practicing simple songs to get used to the big difference in the hole size of the chromatic and to get used to moving around on it
@@ramblin_harp the chromatic is cool because for blues if you draw on your 1st, and each similar note up the scale to the 1 again draw that is the 1 for 3rd position. The 4 is the 3 blow 5 the 3 draw. Have some fun in that minor sounding 3rd position on your chromatic.
@@jonbeckleymorrisblues Thanks for the tip Jon, that's good to know! The chromatic certainly does have a sound of its own, that bluesy/jazz sound is what I like about it. I'm certain I'll have some fun with it 🙏🎶
@@ramblin_harp Mainly just a drawing thing to get that 3rd position sound. Just apply what I've been telling you all about the Blues scale apply it to the chromatic.
@@jonbeckleymorrisblues Cool, thanks Jon! Hope your having a great Memorial day weekend 🙏🇺🇸✌
