My ABX 40R does that similar thing but when it says the low battery sound, it cuts the Charging port off. And sometimes It is connected to my NDX6 Speaker on USB A to USB and also AUX and DC5V.
Battery issue. It happens when disconnected from power. When volume increases, becomes distorted and the battery drains quick. That is the problem.

I don't think that GoAnimate is inherently bad, it just depends on the people that use it and the way they use it. The way he is using it here as he explained before is how you're supposed to use it, to make stories and creativity based videos.
