I used this asset "Headlight Flare" from the DLS. There's a guide that I followed; docs.google.com/document/d/1_nGPNV6TxK9VxKjm8MCIZ-4_N8pN9guDkcOyUUuL_Zs/edit?pli=1&tab=t.0 The whole process to add them onto locomotives is a little difficult at first, but it makes more sense and easier the more you do it.

According to video “History of the Nathan K5HL” by TommyBNSF, the notes are half step lower than an OCP5.

I have not tried that, and I don’t think I can even do so because there aren’t any points before November for me. Yes this whole issue dates back to sometime in November.

I gratefully appreciate your kind words and your view on my videos. I basically moved on from Trainz now. Though, I’ve had ideas on what I should do in Trainz if I ever get back to it, like a crash story type video or focusing on railroads I never covered before. But I don’t really have plans right now on making them reality. If I ever do recover lost files and assets, I would definitely return.

Ummm…this is not a simulation unless you’re referring to the intro, which does in fact use a simulation.

I also suffer lag on this route, one such example is the BNSF clip at the end. The majority of the lag is around the Carlsbad Village station, so I usually don’t shoot videos around there. Setting the time to night usually causes a noticeable frame-rate drop in most areas, at least for me. I have the shadows at either low or medium quality and I believe I set the Shadow Resolution to 2048. I think the route’s overall setting is just really dense and compact, using tons of assets which may cause frame drops, and possibly lots of speed trees only add to it.

This was just a small module I made for the video. I don’t have it anymore.

Shortage of available Surfliner equipment. Several of them have been going in and out of Beech Grove for maintenance, others simply put out of service

@citxsd70m-2 what happened to the ones out of service damaged?

@ the only ones I’m aware are out of service right now is 6953 which was involved in a grade crossing accident last year in 2023, and maybe 2117, likely from technical issues.

If you’re talking about the F59PH, the JR scripting was already on it, so I just added JR components like the ditchlights and marker lights.

Quite unfortunately they had to go this direction.

Because trains are not allowed to honk in quiet zone, or they don’t have to honk in the quiet zone…

I have no clue. I’ve tried digging through with the hopes of finding it in the past, but no luck. Still unsure as of now.
