Hello everybody, I´m a saxophone-, flute and clarinet player from Germany. I play club dates, weddings, bdays, company parties, vernissage etc. I´m posting reworks, remixes and covers of well-known and not so well-known tunes. I´m going to make my own remixes of house- and party tunes, lounge-style music in the future. I´m available for gigs in any style. Hope to see you :)

standard time....a b e a u t i f u l slow bossa song from the fabulous film "The Sandpiper" from 1965, directed by Vincente Minnelli. Composer is the great JOHNNY MANDEL, lyrics by P.F.WEBSTER. The fantastic actors in the film are Liz Taylor & Richard Burton. The song has a bittersweet/sad flavour. The couple fell in love at the sunny beach at Big Sur California but there´s no happy end. The song is the love theme of the film.
Love this song! It switches back and forth between G major and it´s relative minor...GREAT! I decided to make a piano intro adapted from the brilliant version by master pianist Bill Charlap. It sets the melancholy mood for this fantastic song.

fantastic Salsa version on DUA LIPA' s hit Levitating by the great romanian based latin pop band MANDINGA. The members of Mandinga are from Spain, Cuba and Romania...they create a fresh latin mix on great tunes. as always I added a small impro section at the end.

great relaxing chillout mood tune by german dj/producer/saxophonist/musician CHARLIE BOULALA....love this tropical house sax style. the perfect tune for the beach/sunny bar/poolside etc.... to meet nice people and relaxin with a cool cocktail. Charlie Boulala is the real deal... I extended the tune with a small impro section.To play the tenor in the low register so rhythmically is a bit tricky....

fantastic latin version by outstanding singer VANESSA WILLIAMS on the great composition by STEVIE WONDER. Vanessa Williams is a awesome singer...she´s also an actor...This special version of the song is a jewel!! I played tenor sax in the horn section and let the alto sax do the melody and the impro. Love this tune...rich harmonies, super chord progression...and the arrangement is awesome!!!

awesome awesome christmas tune by the GREAT DONNY HATHAWAY.... for me Donny is a hero....I first heard his version of "What´s Goin´On" on his phenomenal live album and was totally flashed...later I discovered this fantastic christmas song...one of the best modern christmas songs ever!! We tragically lost DONNY HATHAWAY so so early...what a loss!!!! This christmas song was covered by so many art...

Sugar, the iconic Stanley Turrentine tune from the famous CTI album of the same name. It's one of the most played so called "originals" and is a standard today. Great tune...here in the Eric version from his "turn up the heat" album with german trumpet star Till Brönner in a more modern style. I decided to force-up the tempo a bit and doubled the melody on soprano sax.

It´s another great house tune by the 3 fantastic edm producers from Italy called MEDUZA. Here again in colab with fabulous irish singer DERMOT KENNEDY. I like the dark atmosphere in this tune...decided to make it more house-stylish. I play my exquisite Selmer MK VII again here 'cause my MK VI has to be fixed by my great repair man. To be honest...there is not so much difference between the two ...

great tune by puertorican musician/singer/rapper DADDY YANKEE canadian musician/singer/rapper SNOW. Co-written by D.Yankee, Snow, M.Grier, E.Leary, MC Shan, T.Moltke, Play-N-Skillz. The music video was also a huge hit ´cause of the fantastic dance by a dance-crew. The sax-challenge here is the breathing and the rhythmically difficult phrases. I added a small impro section at the end.
