Can I print on adhesive paper?
Do you need to use specific types of lights inside the epoxy?
I do not but I found any LED lights work so far. I usually test a small batch of epoxy with new type of lights. I try to not waste material, time or lights. Thanks for watching!!
Please i mistakenly resetted my AutoCAD architecture profile. The look is just like normal autocad. How can i change it back
I'm so sorry to hear that. That might be a better question for AutoDesk customer support. If you closed certain toolbars, right mouse click on any toolbar and other toolbar options could come up.
just found on the marketplace for 250 is it worth it
I would make sure the compatibility with your computer and software is there. Understand this is just like a printer and needs specific drivers. Ours is starting to get old and tired. Probably best to pick up a new inexpensive one.
Can I connect this machine to an android phone?
Sorry for the extremely late reply. I have never attempted to hook this up in any wireless form.
I drag materials onto the palette but it doesn't add. What could possibly be wrong?
You need to be in Realistic shading, you may still be in Conceptual. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching.
Hey... I am having one issue. While trying to insert door it just creates an opening the door is not visible... Please help me
I'm sorry for the late reply. Typically this happens when you insert a door from the metric catalog to the english drawing. I have also found starting a new drawing with all default settings, then copying and pasting the drawing you're having issues with into the new drawing file, does help. Thanks for watching!
Greetings, I have a problem, when you choose the printer to send the cut or engraving to the laser, that tab that gives you to choose the colors and engrave or cut, I could not install it, do you have the link or tutorial brother?
I'm so sorry for the late reply. If you send a picture of your request to kgain@grafton.k12.wi.us I may be able to get a handle on the request. Thanks for watching.

Need assistance, please. Old PC died. New PC has Windows 11. Tried to install the ULS M-300 driver on it and it fails every time for some reason. Everything goes well until the last step, and then the system gives me this error message: "Printer driver was not installed. The system cannot find the file specified." Anyone have any ideas? Thank you.
Hi Betty, sorry for the untimely reply. I know our IT department has switched data cables. That may be a solution. I would also suggest attempting to contact Universal Laser directly. Ours has started to see it's last days as well. We're having origin issues.
Thanks. This got solved 7 months ago, but I appreciate your response.
This tutorial has just made my life ....Please can you a video on how to model Concrete fascia board in Autocad Architecture?
I'm so sorry for the untimely reply. I'll try to whip something up. It would be a matter of using the solids in the drop down, creating a polyline, extruding, then rendering. My students have enjoyed doing a similar process with their countertops if you check my kitchen video out in this series.
Hi, do you still recommend this printer?
The students in my class still love these printers! We have two of them, easy to maintain and ink consumption per unit is low. Still great equipment! Thanks for watching!
Hello. Thank you for your tutorial. I am having issues with viewing the doors in plan view. I can see them in the 3d but they look like openings in the plan view. How can I solve this, please?
Hi Phillip, sorry for the delay in my reply. When a door option is selected click on the wall. Sometimes the home walls are below the z axis and don't show in plan view. I would suggest to open a new drawing screen, have your original drawing open. Copy your original drawing, Paste into your new drawing and see if that solves the issue.
I have one of those on my countertop. You made them for my wife, Jennifer.
I'm hoping it's being enjoyed just as much fun as it was to make!
A huge person or a person in a wheel chair is not getting through a 2 foot door.
Hello and thanks for the feedback. The bathroom door in the video is 32" not 24". I did state while I was modifying 2'-8" which is the same as 32" You're absolutely correct! ADA compliance for a wheelchair is 32"
Thanks for taking the time to do this. It was long overdue and looks GREAT! Go Grafton!
Thank you Michelle! It was a pleasure doing it.
Beautiful
Thank you friend!
Interesting
Thank you! It was fun creating it!
@@kevingain5438 You know what's also pretty interesting, your son.
I have the M300 as well with a 1.5" lense. I have added an air assist which helped I'm reducing smoke contamination the cuts and removed and flame up issues. Good ventilation out of your workspace is important. Amazon has inline 4" duct fans that work well for evacuation. The laser tube has about a four year life span regardless if you use or don't use it, and recharging is about $1200, so use the machine a lot. The biggest improvement I made was added LED light strips to the bottom side if the lid. Really helped with seeing the work space.
Thanks for the suggestions. I like the lighting idea. We do have the air assist ventilation but it's hooked up to 2 machines. We may have to separate with some gates.
where did u get tht command for those tools all the roofing etc
Do you have the Architecture desktop software for AUTOCAD?
I want one
Awesome!
Thanks Larry!
Cost
Just shy of $3,000
thank you so much for the great video. There are A LOT of "how to" videos out there, most of which tend to start of step 5. I really appreaciated find your video that started at step 1.
You're very welcome Michelle! Thanks for the positive feedback
Nice. I would have been terrified of sticking those sheets on crooked! Looks great.
There was some anxiety as I went further down each board. Thanks for watching Scott! I'll get that cool cribbage board done someday too.
Can I use any apple products? I don’t have HP or Microsoft
No, but you can use the machine with a another supporting software
Keep up the good work
Thanks, will do!
I’m wanting a faded soft look to print on tshirts, I know you discourage black T-shirt’s however for the lookin wanting would this we\ork??
Hi Corina, sorry for the extreme delay in my reply. Unfortunately even trying to print a color such as yellow, or light gray would still not show up on a black t-shirt with the BT12 garment printer.
@@kevingain5438 thanks so much, it’s a challenge trying to find a printer that will do this. I appreciate you response 😀

Hi there, can you do an update of this? I think the print system dialog has changed... my print preferences window looks different. :)

Can you print on hoodies and sweatshirts
Hi Hayward, thanks for watching. Hoodies and sweatshirts can be done just as easy as a shirt. You will be able to choose the sweatshirt option in the software. The machine will also automatically let you know to lower the cartridge to recognize the thicker material.
Nice Planer you have there. I'd like to congratulate you on your good taste in fine machinery.
Thanks Randall! I believe it's well before my time (1920s? 50s?) Good tools never die!

Doing a similar project but using Cardboard for student work. Cheap/free material...but what material setting would we need to use?
I would not suggest corrugated paperboard (cardboard box) material due to the corrugation channels. This could be a fire issue regardless of the settings. Off topic but I also do not let students used cedar since it's way to dry of a soft wood. We've had charring and burning issues. Not safe! If it's more on the lines of index card cardboard, or poster board cardboard I would start with a manual power setting of 5% and a speed of 100% with a thickness of whatever the cardboard is. If it doesn't pop through keep brining those numbers closer i.e. power 10% speed 95%. Please let me know if this helps. If it doesn't make sense I'm more than willing to create a video if you let me know your exact material. Thanks for watching!
succinctly and clearly explained. Good video.
Thanks for the positive feedback Paul!
Can't say many people would do the same. That's just crazy.

I like the way you presented your tutorial very academic and precise. Congratulation
Thank you Carlos! Very appreciative of your feedback.
terrible print quality. Ender 3's do a much better job (or at least equal) for $2700 less.
I'm by no means loyal to a specific manufacturer. I'm all about quality also. I'll take this into consideration next time I'm in the market for another printer. Thanks for the information!
Can your ender 3 print ABS with HIPS for support in a heated chamber straight out of the box without tuning? The Method is very cost effective compared to the $15k equivalent from Stratasys.
depends its print quality, do you think it worth to buy? thanks
Hi Heng Lu. Thanks for watching and the interest. I don't have a lot to compare to since MakerBot is all we've ever used at our high school. I do like the Methods. They're very user friendly and have a good quality.
@@kevingain5438 thanks for sharing.
Hi Kevin, Thanks for your video, do you know how to edit those multi-view blocks without changing the original ones in the content browser?
Hi Baylee, Thanks for the question and thanks for watching. If you're referring to editing the block sizes you can change the scale of the x, y, and /or z in its properties menu. Double click on the block to bring up its properties and scroll down until you see the scale. Tinker with changing the scale of 1 to .8 etc. Its a nice way to sneak a cabinet, just as one example, into a fixed area. If I didn't I interpret you question correctly please let me know.
Kevin, will the M 300 Universal Laser Engraver cut Acrylic and thein plywood? Can you use a rotary attachment to etch on tumblers? Thanks
Hi Jon, Thanks for the interest and your question. The M300 will cut 1/8" acrylic, 1/8" wood. A rotary fixture will engrave on your glass tumblers. If you'd like to see a specific process of the machine please let me know and I'll create a video. Thanks for watching.
I would like to see the rotary fixture will engrave on a glass tumblers :-)@@kevingain5438
Great video, I've been thinking about buying one of these for a side business as I'm a graphic designer and love making my own T-shirts...from what you said should I totally avoid this printer as I only want to print on Gildan soft style Black T-shirts or is it only certain fabrics? I want to use PNG images with gradient edges.
Hi James! Thanks for the question. You would not be able to print on black garments with this machine. Roland does sell vinyl printer/cutters that can do vinyl transfers. If you watch "ROLAND VG2 540 VINYL PRINTER_CUTTER" on RUclips ruclips.net/video/QFiEBh6q4gM/видео.html you'll get an idea of what it can do. The sample in the video is not a transfer but it's the same process.
Hi, great video. Thinking of buying one. When you show you can make the print size smaller can you move the print area to the pocket part?
Hi Michael, Thanks for watching and thanks for the question. We've done pocket areas before. Best thing to do is locate the area and square off the shirt with painter's tape. When putting the shirt in the cartridge, center the taped off area within the target center of the cartridge, remove the tape before you press the shirt. Let me know if that's not a clear explanation and I'll create a video for the pocket area.
@@kevingain5438 hi there, thank you that does make since. On the software when you make the print area smaller is there any option to move the print area or are you always stuck with it in the middle?
@@MichaelB-ry7hb Hi Michael, in the software you have the ability to move the image or text around anywhere. Thanks again for watching!
