A "brief" rundown on how to install dcs on linux using steam's proton. Assumes that steam is installed and working, as well as your drivers. I am using EndeavourOS(arch based). I've only got one more game I want to get running in vr. F1 23. Everything else is working. The settings are probably too high, hence all the chop chop, but i should have it working pretty smoothly by next vid. see comment for link to howto

Still takes a bit to get setup. But it's not too bad now. Using a Samsung Oddyssey with nvidia 2060 Using Monado built with Envision, and not using the steamvr-monado plugin. The plugin works, but it's an added blob that slows everything down. These are native drivers. And its works great!! Sure, it's open source, sure it's got some bugs, but it works well.

Sweat match, my stick was playing games(loose wire after testing) got 6 kills 6 deaths and 6 assists before making the last kill. So, HAIL SATAN! GG NIWI!!
