His transcription of the Shostakovitch Waltz was reminiscent of the transcriptions of Rosenthal and Friedman. The Liebermann Frankenstein episodes were hair-raising. Did the composer transcribe them himself, or did Mr. Lando?

How nice to play with such clarity and simplicity. Music in the first place, no added manners, no showing up! Old honest school, where music is holy and above everything. I wish to be able to play like that especially at that age! Bravo and thank you!
This was a splendid performance and special evening of Beethoven and Schumann. The Lillibridge Ensemble worked as a team and interpreted very closely what I think Beethoven and Schumann wished to express. I look forward to their future collaborations!

Wonderful performances of the Beethoven "Kreutzer" and Schumann's Piano Quintet. Five superb musicians capture the beauty in both works with the inimitable Madeleine Forte at the helm in the Schumann. I don't think either the dedicatee of this work, Clara Schumann or Felix Mendelssohn who replaced Clara for the first performance, could have performed the piano part better. In Beethoven's phenomenal Kreutzer, Madeleine matches or exceeds every performance of this Sonata I have ever heard.

Their interpretation was beautiful, emotionally and intellectually very impressive. I love the balance, colorfulness and the nice dialogs between the instruments.
