BG3: Bard talks to Raphael at the Last Light Inn
Wow! HoH + Glyph of Thunder worked amazingly well!!! I’m researching my HM fight with these baddies and your video popped up at the top of my list. Thank mate!
Glad it worked. Good hunting.
Was this from act 1 or after defending the grove?
It's in Mountain Path which I consider to be Act 1.5
Pretty wild that creatures as repugnant as Gnolls can have feelings of gratitude.
Yeah. The Gnolls will also join you as allies for the assault on Moonrise Towers.
@@LT_Volk Good. I was hoping that'll happen since I haven't got to that part in my playthrough yet (Gnolls are free, now I'm in the Gauntlet)
Im at this point but im in the fire cave and i dont even have Karlach yet.
It's easier to approach this encounter from the Hyena's on Risen Road. Karlach is located near there as well, but Lae'zel could work as well.
@@LT_Volk I don't have Lae'zel yet either just Astarion Shadowheart me and hireling from Withers I could switch one with Halsin. But I'm just playing for fun if I miss stuff I miss stuff. Like I killed the drow so I don't have her.
@@ziaclipsegaming2835 I see. Can always spec the Hireling as Berserker.
All my homies hate Wulbren
Her dialogues are cool
@@Truxidious she is a cold one
still having a blast watching your gameplay, bard is really smooth to play
@@Dawar_77 Thank you, it means a lot to me.
"Bolders Geet"
Lol
She is nice
That's why she's called Dolly Thrice :)
Don't have to be a Bard... and any of those choices 'frees him' of the Pact... what a weird video .... /blocked
@Nimoot Goodbye
Quite pleasing to watch your gameplay, thanks for explaining what you do !
Thank you for your support!
Gale is him If u know you know
I don't think so.
Reward for finding Jonny is actually a Combat Leather Jacket (one of a kind and better than Leather armor). Otherwise I have nothing to add, you are pro.
Good to know. Thank you and hope you are enjoying the videos.
I wish we could get more background on what happened between Voss and Orpheus. Why did Voss get such trust from Valakith?
My theory is that after Orpheus' upraising failed, he had Voss "capture" him as a gift for Vlakith I. This way his friend would be safe at least.
karlach is a fangirl of every famous person in the game
@@shadowclone1598 she thought Elminster was Gale's grandpa :P
hello! if you like fallout2 you should try fonline2 it's basically fallout2 but online! an mmorpg, let me know if you are interested
I'll have to pass. I don't play MMOs. Thanks for the suggestion though.
Damn I gotta get to this part, thank you for posting it!
@@orionvictoria1 Sure thing.
damn.. she aged like milk
I actually like the old cow
Do you have tavern brawler and titan string on karlach? What item makes heal everyone come with a bless on SH? Trying to optimize my comp. We have the same team comp except my main is a ranger. I used your tav's character model on my previous save. Pretty hilarious.
@judjudersawn2596 yep got Tavern Brawler, Gloves of Kushigo and ring of flinging on Karlach. IIRC I got the bow that gives +1 to initiative equipped. SH uses Whispering Promise ring from Volo.
@@LT_Volk Thanks. I just beat Nere on my honor run after getting prepped using your video and buying that ring from Volo. I neat trick I found out is you can get a character ( I used gale) on top of the metal platform above the fight area that you use to walk to grymforge. There's a jump onto the platform from the nere fight area too. You dont have to walk around through the flame trap platform.
@judjudersawn2596 Very nice. I love how this game rewards creativity
As you know about Navaro exploit, do you know also about Flick exploit? And are you familiar with Restoration project too?
@kolap1 is the Flick exploit the one where you can kill him and loot decent weapons without consequence? Yeah I played the Restoration Project a couple times. It's pretty good.
@@LT_Volk 86 / 5 000 Yes, that's one. Looks like you're the first one in a long time that I won't have anything to help with.
@kolap1 your feedback is always welcomed. Like I said before, my memory is not what it's used to be, so I forget some things all the time.
How do you get the egg/this convo without aggroing the cretch?
You need to Persuade the Varsh of the hatchery to let you take it. Here's the vid. ruclips.net/video/mrkoQPvksGQ/видео.htmlsi=PUs4XsZV4GkxKAv9&t=2005
Since you seem to be quite knowledgeable about the game well, I'm surprised you don't know that north of the Rat King's position is a bit cave-in in the passage with remains of a guy with 10mm pistol. You can repair generator, but unlocking elevator require electronic lockpick you will find much later.
@kolap1 I don't remember everything, especially as I get older haha. Some things like item locations, unless it's something gamechanging, tend to be lost to the mental void.
Tav: So at that moment in time, all magic was gone? Gale: For a spell. I just love the little side-eyed look he gave at that pun! Shame they cut out the zoom in on his face in the EA.
Yeah, I was really impressed with how they handled facial expressions.
If you play as Wyll, is he becoming a member of the no eye league then?
@@sojus7929 No, he can't get any other operations.
hunger of hadar works the same way as darkness meaning you cannot shoot into it, cant cast spells into it and cant throw anything into it unless you're using the character who casted it so thats why gale couldnt throw the void bulb or target anyone
@lukem9426 not true. Here's the video of Karlach and Gale attacking into HoH in open terrain. The issue is with doorways. ruclips.net/video/eoXaH524hrM/видео.htmlsi=cqB6tvwtIYVqcU-J
@@LT_Volk Yea, doorways are really wonky with how they interact with Line of Sight requirements for attacks, can be really frustrating in certain scenarios.
You do NOT have to fight them at all to recruit the cub. If you walk away you will still find the cub in the goblin camp.
@@jrtomlin1805 I know, but it's a fun challenge.
I hate how they make Lae'zel kind of stupid because if they give away the Relic, they will turn it into mind flayers. It doesn't make sense to give away what's actually protecting you
I think Lae'zel still believes that Zaith'isk at another Creche would cure her. Voss reveals to the party that it's a lie after you refuse to kill Dream Guardian.
That discrepancy is given by Sequence (based by Perception). First move in first round of combat have always one who started it. But starting from second round participants move by their sequence. So if you start combat with somebody with higher sequece you play first and then opponent. But when second round starts opponent play first. Therefore it looks like he played twice in a row. Similarly if you let somebody with lower sequence start a fight against you, you will play after him in first round, but before him in second, giving you two chances to react.
@@kolap1 Thank you for the explanation. That makes sense.
But then you don’t get to see Vlaakith in her big mommy form
@shabr1ri You still do
@@LT_Volk I wouldn’t know. When Lae’zel tells me to do something, I do it😍 ooga booga
The same guy from the original but after isaac grabs the reactor core here he appears after. 😅
@@marvelfuture2057 good to know
yoooo wtf is that stat buff for persuasion did you rob a god?!
It's a magic spell called "Video Editor".
looks like your playing spiderman
@thepenguins7564 so I've been told. "Gonna cry?"
This is how shadowheart and laz'el gave bing bong a sibling
haha
I kill the greenskin at the start of every playthrough lol
Ok…. anyway.
Yikes
You are missing out on so much good stuff then. Lae'zel's character growth is arguable one of the best character arcs in the game (besides Astarion ofc)
@@Hexoner14 but it's so fun and she's so annoying at the start lol. I just can't help it
Hmm, this is some premium bait. Mind if I nibble on some, too?
Mom'zel is the best Lae'zel
Agreed.
But in F2 is better Power Armor which gives +4 to ST. And there are also perks giving +1 to each stat available from level 12. Both fist fights, Cammeron in temple and boxing ring, can be done with low Unarmed. You can steal key from Cammeron to avoid fight. And in tournament opponent loses if critically miss even if you did zero damage to him.
@kolap1 True about PA. The Gain SPECIAL is an OK perk, but they do not factor into my build. The Masticator almost never misses.
Listened to episodes 2 - 5 at work tonight. Back at it again tomorrow, great videos!
Thank you, I really appreciate it. Hope you enjoy the rest of them!
Lae'zel doesn't need to bring you along or attempt to help you, yet she risks much to do so. She may be rough around the edges, but she's truly loyal to you.
She's fucking terrified, the worst fate of her species is upon her, but despite her crass and sass, she still tries to save you, a person she only met that day. She truly is a great person, if midguided and indoctrinated by Vlakkith
She might be rough around the edges but Gale is smooth enough for two
Yep, she really grew on me.
Great video! I'm ready to watch all the fallout 1 episodes you put out!
@poisonoctane8071 Thank you for your support.
In my full conscience, I would never run after such a person knowing damn well…. Not to trust Anytbing and anyone in such places
No choice haha. The ship was self destructing and that's where the exit was.
@@LT_Volk Man! You’re crazy! You responded so fast and to a video which is a year old, epic!
@@DerSingh0329 I check YT when I wake up to respond haha
There's a panel on the wall just front of cells area. But if you free prisoners by using it, they will explode running from the cells. If you get Strange Key from Lieutenant's locker you can use it to arm that warhead in floor 4 and bypass Master completely. There's no bug. You have to go to see the base to advance quest first. Even if you know location from computer in Cathedral.
@@kolap1 as always, thank you for your insight.
Naushes condition is from Rad-away drawback, not from radiation.
Thanks, always nice to learn something new.
Thing with companions in FO1 is they were not in the game till very late stage. Developers decided to add them about a month or so before release date. Therefore there is no companions AI. In combat they act as enemies who did not see you and each other.
Yeah. It looks like you know FO2 better. Because there's no companion limit in FO1. You can have all 3 of them no mater how your charisma is. And there's also no limit in companion's carry weight. You can sell them as many items as you found (you can always steal them back).
@@kolap1 good to know. Thank you for the tips.
As you look quite experienced I'm surprised you missed both wall lockers on 1st floor of Vault 15. Especially those 3 Stimpacks from wall locker in infirmary should be useful. And if you want use just 1 Stimpack you can do it through "use from inventory" action (backpack icon) for just 2AP. And it can be used on companions too. Plus if you manage to position Ian to block Razlo's view on bookshelf in his house, you can loot it without agro him. And that Dynamite from Vault 15 can be used to collapse entrance to radscorpion cave for extra 300 XP.
@kolap1 I think I played FO1 three or four times total, and I played it when it first came out. Most of my character building experience comes from FO2, which I played close to a dozen times.
how do you make the most boring looking PC possible
Bro is playing as john baldur's gate
somthing about beauty and bee holders. idk I'm not an appiary.
Tobey Maguire?
@riptor7641 Just a happy little coincidence.
Hi. I'm bit late to notice your series, but I will catch you soon. You obviously know things, as this is nearly perfect character. Only 1 thing, that LU 10 is a bit overkill as otherwise it can be increased by 1 by Chuck in Adytum for free. Fast shot is one of the best at begginning. It loses usefullness later in game, but luckily it can be changesd to another by Mutate perk. But you did few mistakes. Sequence is based on PE, not AG as you thing. "Tell me about" feature is only in Fallout 1 and even there was only half developed.
Thank you. i'm not as familiar with FO1 as I am with 2, so there are definitely some mistakes. Normally I don't take Fast shot, but it worked really well, even in the endgame. with Bonus Rate of Fire my Dweller can Fire Turbo Plasma Rifle 5 times in a turn. With Sniper Perk and 10 luck, each shot that hits is a crit.
@@LT_Volk Yes you right but beside damage critical hits also have extra effects depending where you did hit. Critical hit in torso (where you hitting with unaimed shots) can only do double damage, bypass armor or cause knockdown. While critical hit into eyes can do quadruple damage, cause blindness or even insta-death.
@kolap1 also true, but in my experience , SM in FO1 can't survive two crits from the plasma rifle/alien blaster. Some die in one crit. All my previous runs I built my character for Aimed shots, but I like this build better.
These are the best BG3 videos on RUclips. 😎
@SpiderEternal Thanks brother
I'm late but i loved this game and you did a nice job explaining the game and I hope you keep making videos on this game and fallout 2
Thank you for kind words. Definitely planning on doing FO2 and maybe New Vegas.
