Of course! By Safari Railway Set do you mean the 33720, with the tree monkey and Zebra? Or the Safari Adventure set? We don't own either set entierly, but have enough to build the layout. Only one switch from the metro set if it is the 33720 Safari, and alot of bends with only a couple of straights, so will end up a big loop with a small siding, or a small loop amd a big siding... Leave it with us!

@ yes! I just searched up and I meant the 33720 safari railway, 33719 farm railway, and 33513 metro railway, just the ones that have the simple loop on the box🙂

Thanks! So the vast majority of our BRIO collection is second hand, most of which we have acquired through Facebook Marketplace, Vinted and Ebay here in the UK. Here is a playlist of our past Bundle unboxing videos where someone lists a box of BRIO, we see one or two things in the box that we want and pick the entire box up then unbox it on the channel so you can see everything we have got. We haven't featured any of the My First Sets on the channel as yet, our youngest will be at that age this year though so we do have plans to look at all of the My First sets this year as there are some elements in these sets that would be good for future track builds. Switching Set is a good one, we have playlists on the channel for all the current sets we own, in those you will see all the tracks we have made using those sets and 1 or 2 other sets, so while we dont have one yet on the 33727 & the 33512 when we do thats where it will be.

Your very welcome, the Dinosaur deluxe set didn't launch in the UK in autumn with all the other sets, it seemed to arrive much later after we were told it wasn't coming to the UK. So, it's something we will look to pickup at some stage, and bring to the channel. The new starter sets is something that will be on the channel very soon.

The SBB Train? As I understand it, it was a country specific release, like the 36086 that only came out in Japan.

Yes, previously only available in their series figures which we missed out on, so was excited to get it in this set, hope we see more old pieces like this in future calendars

I think the important thing to remember is who the target audience is and what other toys are available today that perhaps were not 30+ years ago when brio was predominately wooden based. It doesn't bother us too much, as I think the playability today with these items is more than it was when we were kids, that said, we wouldn't be against them bringing back some classic wooden pieces. 70th anniversary is in a few years, would make a nice throw back I think to do some limited edition elements from the past

@@BRIOAdventure Im not 100 percent against it,as the Theodore Tugboat line demonstrated it can me used properly and tastefully.(If only they didnt end their license on it that soon,it was legitimately one of their best lines...rail and boat) I wont say there the only ones at fault(Case in point Thomas WOOD(Fortunately they rebounded from that though.))

@vaclavmacgregor2464 I've seen some of thr Theodore tugboat items and they did look very cool, it wasn't a show we watched and isn't a range we start collecting as yet, but would be intrested to get hands on with some. As for other IP I guess it's what could they do that would bring fans of that IP to BRIO, and how would the IP enhance the range I guess... the Bob the builder stuff was good as it added to the range with the new vehicles and pieces, but the Disney sets unfortunately didn't really bring anything new, just rebrands of old/existing elements. The Disney princess castle though is atleast a new element that was introduced. So for us, if a new IP comes in we would want to see new pieces. Like they have with dinosaurs, we have a new cave, the volcano, and all the dinosaurs 🦕

@@BRIOAdventure I agree,its not like there doing anything new with the Ip,unlike their other ones...Theodore and Bob bowth showcased what they could do when combining both well(Theodore is the GOAT of Brio Boats,as well as adding much more character to the series,whilst seemlessly combing bots and rail together) It would be wonderfull if they got to cook with an ip based vehicle show again!Id buy some in a heartbeat!

I am guessing that it isn't as i would have thought that would have been mentioned in the information we found, but it would be cool if it was for sure!

It has grown on me since we first saw it, the grey box cars in particular will be a nice addition and another new colour, plus looks like one of the cargo pieces has the matching Santa Fe colours on it two, making it unique to this set.

Happy New Year to you also! Which versions if the starter sets did you get? The older one with the tunnel, or the newer one with the arch bridge and curved station? We have some videos planned for new layouts using the new (for 2024) starter sets in the coming weeks

Mostly we pick up bundles 2nd hand from sellers on ebay, Facebook and vinted. We are running out of space in the room already! So we need to make some more space ASAP and when we do we will bring you a 2025 Room update 👍

Storage is one of the most difficult things about collecting BRIO, and it only gets harder the more you get, especially for trains. We hated having our trains in a box that required rummaging to find something. Same for figures
