Tonight I listened to your speech in favour of support for Ukraine and have some things that I would like to say and would like your parliamentary colleagues to know. That is: 1) Thank you for speaking the truth about the despicable behaviour of Russia which, currently has been side-lined by the leadership and the media 2) Thank you for your pleas to the house for continued support of Ukraine and 3) I am disgusted by some members attitude during your speech in the house. One slouched down staring at the ceiling, one woman doing an activity that looked very much like knitting and the number of empty seats by members who clearly could not be bothered to even attend. I am not Ukranian and nor am I affiliated to anyone in Ukraine but I feel it is up to all right-minded governments to call out Russia for their crimes and to support Ukraine in ways that can enable Ukraine to prevent Russia, under Putin, from achieving his aims.

This a case of world-class, championship level excuse-making & missing the point. This "sport" is often called "broken Moral Compass" or "Appealing to the Lowest Common Denominator". Why can't either party put up a candidate that has not been found guilty of a crime or a candidate that does not result in Congress spending days/weeks and million$ on investigations?
