After rowing a boat across the Pacific Ocean, I’m here to share my stories over the 38 days, 9 hours, and 3 minutes I was at sea - proving that even the most ordinary people can achieve extraordinary things. Episode 4: Day 5 - Life is a Highway!
Day 5 was a game-changer! We finally got the green light to head south, and though it took all hands on deck to turn the boat, it was worth every ounce of effort. Once we shifted course, the wind and waves worked in our favor, and we were flying across the water!
This episode also features some lighter moments, including singing another song and enjoying my first full meal on the boat. On top of it all, I began to realize just how incredible this journey is. It hit me that I’m living a dream I didn’t even know existed two years ago, and the happiness that brought was overwhelming.
