Here's my recipe for a balanced diet... cup raw oats cup cooked brown rice 4cups cooked chicken I tin sardines in spring water two cups cooked greens I cup carrots grated I egg and tsp ground egg shell,,, I grated apple,,, I table spoon natural yoghurt 1 tsp olive1/2cup nutritional yeast oil 2 spoons probiotic pellets... I know this sounds like a lot of stuff but it dose give a well balanced diet... I make up a fresh batch every other day because I have a big dog.. I do not feel the need to give dry food as it is not good for the gut at all.. So just thought I would share this with you... My dog has health issues she was. born with and my intention is to keep her super healthy and free of any cancers etc

Dig it. I have a similar recipe. I disagree with the chicken broth. It just adds unnecessary salt and the pup will love the food without it. Also I think white rice is better than brown due to digestability

Peas are legumes… legumes can and do creat heart problems like death for dogs. Plus they add nothing to any dogs health. I thought you should know before you continue to post home made food for dogs with legumes in the recipe. Also, scrubbing the skins and not pealing the carrots and sweet potatoes add important nutrition to the food.

We rescued ours from a shelter when he was 2 and he by far has been my favorite pet I’ve ever had. He’s great with the children and protects all of us. I have anxiety issues and he just knows by instinct to be touching me. He will lay up against me until I calm down. One incredibly smart dog. Love this combo 🐾
