We're a couple in our late 30s. In march 2020 we've decided to leave the big city and corporate life behind and move back to the country. A good idea at the time even without knowing the coming crises. We both come from the business/economics/law fields and had no idea about crafts. So we found ourselves 2020, in the middle of the corona crisis, struggling to find good craftsmen for house renovations, materials and no proper tools in the house, realizing what we are capable of doing with our own hands and creativity. We just started doing what to do and noticing the potential for a future RUclips channel.

Dcs579 is just eu version of dcs578? I see no difference except for stickers saying 54v, which is 60v on US market.
No, the difference is in the base plate - the DCS579 is prepared to be used on rails i.e. has groves in the base that slide on DeWalt rails so you don't need to purchase/use any additional often flimsy adapters. However, I hope it can be used witout the rails too as the DCS578.

Drawers would be heaps better, drawers on the bottom 2-3 boxes and one big box on the top and screw box above that.
