Close one. Have had that myself when fishing pike streamers. Your first reaction is to set the hook as soon as you see the fish bite, but better to wait just a sec. until you feel the tap on the rod tip. Not easy hehe.

They certainly work very well. I'm yet to find one of his that doesn't catch.

Hey Dave, had a crazy moment today with Mike… a pike took my mcfluffchecker and some how took it off my lure clip while it was shut!! Defies physics…. 😳 made Mike laugh though… I’ve just ordered 3 more to make up for it… keep up the good work!!! 👍

@@castawayuk i assume you use shads for dropshot? i usually use worms but cant manage to catch any zander. i do catch big perch tho, im from the netherlands where zander population is great
@@scrazy7086 I use dead roach on the drop shot rig. Link in the description to video. I always get them in the deep spots and plenty of pike from the sides
