sorry to hear that. i have done 2 videos prior to this one talking about this topic but people where only watching 1 and missing out on the other and stating it wasnt working. so i made this documentmening the entire process. hoping that it would capture all the questions that people would have. check the fps limit of gentool in game, sometimes it will default to 30. check the gameadat.ini file so that useFPSLimit = no those 2 steps should all that it needs to run faster than 30.

Yes but you have to add the opponents within the file, or copy an existing general. Outside the scope of this video For generals challenge there are 8 missions I think

It's a bug that doesn't work first time. You need to save and then load that save from challenge mode.

@@Cababs91 Thanks. I have tried that but still the same, unfortunately. Not sure or not if that's because I'm playing with the Shockwave mod.

@@slamminx3 I don't know what changes the shockwave mod does. So maybe that does influence it.

all the C&C games use hard coded rules. in the older games when started to extract the ini/rules file it ignored the hard coded version and used the files. so all files needed to be present. althought that is not tested when i did look at other mods all the files were extracted

@@Cababs91 It "works" with 1 file also. I already checked this. I put the word "works" in quotation marks because the way you showed speeds up the game, not just increases FPS. It becomes impossible to play. It's strange, but the game removes the FPS limit in cases when you play online with other players. And in this case, the game itself is not accelerated.

@@user-qx9hd9dh7n fps limit is controlled by gentool. i cant play it at 60. i normally keep it at 50. to play online you need gentool anyway

so it was a Tuesday at about 11pm GMT? it seem its was only happing to me and my friend and I was going crazy. im glad im not alone

@@sargisshirinyan207 Use gentool, set FpsLimit in .INI file again to Yes, fpsLimit to 60 and i set gentool fps lock to my display herz - 60hz. It seems like working solution

I have another video that shows you how to extract the initial files but I've learnt more since then. I need to make an update video and redo the process from the start

@shenz1748 I used a program that helped me to extract the INI file I forgot the program 😅 😬 sorry 😂

To tell you: if u want to download any mod it will give u an error message you will need to delete the ini file that u have done and please be careful ​@shenz1748

It's the same as mod. You will be able to see matches in the lobbies but there will be version mismatched. So only the people with this exact changes can make mp work.

as far as i know. the original, TFD and ultimate collection are compatible in multiplayer so these changes should be able to be made to all versions that being said i dont have the ultimate collection so im not sure

imported the 2 sources into a timeline and made each half height and then positioned them top and bottom. the sync was done manually but I used the part when a player was down. you should be able to use any software that has video layers but I used Adobe Premier Pro CS3

i just tested campaign with my settings and the cutscene is 30fps but when you get into the battlefield that increased. gamedata options is set to UseFPSLimit = No FramesPerSecondLimit = 60 i am using the 1st decade version.

You alter the values when snapping to grid. It's a bit trail an error but can help in the long run. Small blueprint can be easy to align but the bigger ones are a bit more difficult. So I tend to use wooden boxes as a guide to match the snap

something similar came up recently. it looks like there are anomalies. i just checked pye corner to Cardiff central for Friday at 1700 and it says £5. i am not familiar with the ebbw vale line so i didn't talk much about it. it was my understanding that the south wales lines dont have a on-off peak fares. guess ill have to do an update video.

Unlike London, I don't see the journey map at stations. I just want consistenty. If the fare zones exist they should be advertised

You need to extract the .big file using finalbig editor. I can't remember if you have to state data/ini or just data, since it might already have ini folder when extracting. To check extract to the root of a drive to see how it looks

It is. The only think left of that is GeneralPersona 10 and 11 but the art, sounds, AI and challenge maps are missing. When I mod this game I'm only changing what is there. To do the other missing content is outta my knowledge I think the shockwave or all stars mod had that missing content

There is mods that implement them!

you need to extract the .big files using finalbig.exe. extract to the zerohour folder. it will place the INIs in the data folder

If Gentool was installed correctly it should say on load "press Insert to open gentool"

here are the built-in BossGeneral Powers. there is a bug with the pathfinder and clustermines. these are normally at lv3 but are shown at lv1. you have to get level3 to unlock them. i tried adding/replacing these but to get them to appear as selectable powers i need to alter more files but i dont know what other files i need. By default it is supposed to be empty. You need to extract the inizh.big file with the big editor to edit those files

It looks like in the skirmish mode FPS depends on this setting called "game speed" in the skirmish settings. The more fps you get the faster all the action goes in-game and also bots act faster too. It becomes a lot more difficult to play like that

Because in Skirmish, the FPS limit is set by the "game speed" strip.
