    Did you also know that blacks not only sold other blacks into slavery but also owned slaves themselves. Did you also know that there were plenty of white slaves in early America but they were called indentured servants and were usually incapable of purchasing their freedom 😮

    You can't pass judgment in the 21st century on something that was legal and constitutionally protected in the 18th and 19th centuries. Yall are just going to have to learn to live with it and get over it. I'm not guilty of it, and I shouldn't be made to feel guilty of it.

    Mexicans owned texas and lost it fighting white slave owners, when texas was in mexico 10000 black slaves ran into texas scared out of their minds running from slavery. Mexico didnt allow white slave owners to come into mexico to get their slaves because in tejas = texas mexico it was against the law to have slaves in mexico. White slave owners were infuriated, starting the Mexican and American war. Mexico lost texas, colorado ,utah, New Mexico , nevada, Arizona, California and Oregon. Mexico lost many mexicans in the mexican and American war. Mexico stood its ground protecting your black ancestors. Also 10000 mexican americans fought in the civil war to free your black ancestors.without mexicans there would be no Juneteenth in texas?

    • @LegacyTrailsTV
      @LegacyTrailsTV 3 дня назад

      It's true that Mexico had abolished slavery by 1829, which led to tensions with American settlers who wanted to bring enslaved people into Texas. Their contributions in the Civil War and their role in fighting for freedom are also crucial parts of this history. Their efforts helped pave the way for the eventual end of slavery in the United States. Thank you for your comment, i will make sure to create a video regarding this topic!
