Great job. Would you normally use a Dremel off camera?
This one blew my mind. Awesome job. 😎👍
Thank!
The ASMR is awesome. The sound the shell made when dropped on the table and the squeak when it was polished was perfect. Incredible work.
thanks!

Maybe a wedding cup.
bro thats insane! love it. I prefer the natural look than a white polished look but that is something else. Well done
Thanks~
Thanks!
the end result looked nice but there is a chance you just destroyed an artifact
You go!
Very nice. 😎👍

How do I know when I need to change sandpaper? Amazing job!❤
When it doesn't feel gritty and isn't creating anymore dust
What kind of rock is that? Is it fluorite?
It should be serpentine
Came out amazing. My hands hurt watching this one. 😎👍
Wieviel Stunden haben Sie denn gebraucht?
Etwa 6 bis 7 Stunden
All that work and no genie...
It looks like an elephant/mammoth tooth
Damm, what happened to that shell?
Great job!❤
THANKS~
Well done
I’m wondering how much mass was lost in the process. I saw you weigh in the beginning but not the end.
Guys this is how 399 g sounds like 0:21
NEVER polish an old coin.. DISAPOINTED
Ah, yes. The infamous stinky mirror
Dengeros polish
if the can is puffed or watery its spoiled. the issue with imported surstromming is that its almost always spoiled. normally the fish is intact and its almost like a can of sardines but stinkier. not a watery soup of smelly rotten fish. this can was 100% rotten. it fell of the bones. i bet it smelled so bad.
I love your videos. They’re so satisfying and calming and you do a really good job at them. They deserve more views.
Thank you~
A nice job and a lot of patience both in the search for the tools to use and in the extreme polishing of the coin which, however, 2000 years ago, I certainly don't think it even remotely resembled a similar object. Certainly the production techniques of the time did not allow for a similar final result. It is a "Crazy Polishing" job from 2024, but I wouldn't call it a restoration. It would be like saying that to restore the Sistine Chapel, they transform one of Michelangelo's masterpieces into a photorealistic scene. Anyway, you got a beautiful, extremely well polished coin. :)
Thanks!
Well done. Thank you.
Thanks!
Can you use micro sandpaper for polishing? Great video. Thanks.
It's a pity that the ending was so unexpected.
Thanks!
Wish I had a bald head (Joke) So I can mirror polish my head like this steel you done today. I would hire you to mirror polish my bald head in the future.
Espero que no sea verdad
What an amazing work of art. Spectacular. You work damn hard. I wouldn't even have the energy to sand a sponge

Why didn't you show the cleaning of the interior of the bowl and spout?
I think it isn't important. Because; it's copper, if anybody wants to drink something with the pot, must cover inside with SN element. Otherwise it could have been mortal
They sell these at the store, ready to go. It is called stainless steel. I dont even have to go back and season it to keep it from rusting. Entertaining tho
8:58 sound effects
Ow meneh microns of serface were lost in da process mon
4:35 chuffing beautiful
Thanks
In practicality you wouldn't want to do this for a pan you cook in, the whole point of the black oxide layer is to stop the pan from rusting. I'm sure you could carefully season the polished surface so it wouldn't rust as fast but getting water anywhere near that shine will ruin it. Not hating, still cool, just throwing in some extra facts.
The oxide layer is what's referred to as "seasoning," anyone can reapply it at home; also, there's no ruining cast iron, not even rust, just strip it and reseason, it'll be fine. Same goes for carbon steel, which is already smooth, so you are correct about the practicality. :P PS. The reason vintage cast iron is so expensive is because older green sand casting methods resulted in a much, much smoother surface, but again, these days you should just get carbon. $50 for a 10" from Matfer can be your go-to pan for the rest of your life, and you don't even really have to take care of it, lol. Non-stick, too, because of the seasoning, which you can always reapply yourself.
This is what internet is for! The beauty of internet advises from people who know absolutely nothing about the subject they're giving advice on. This is not a black oxide layer. Black oxide is used for chemical gun blacking and it is a quite expensive process. Cast iron is seasoned with vegetable oils being polymerized at high temperature and forming a polymer coating on the surface of the pan. This is what give cast iron pans non-stick properties. And obviously you wouldn't leave your pan without re-seasoning it which is exactly what is shown in the video. In practicality you DO WANT to do exactly this for any crude cast iron pan. For many reasons. For one, polished surfaces are way less likely to seriously rust simply because there's way less surface area. For the same reason those polished pans are much better at being non-stick. And when you season the polished surface again, it'll get very uniform, with excellent adhesion to the metal because no weird stuff will form in micro crevices of the rough surface. Highly polished cast iron pans are simply the best, and the rough ones are worthless because they are physically can't be non-stick.
Pov: you let your mom use your seaoned cast iron pan...
My buddy broke up with his girl and tossed the pan in the dumpster one time when she disrespected him like that.
man... probably the arm of this guy its the sice of my chest
