i am going to start from pune in a week or so for indore. plan to start monday morning. want to avoid weekend and monday in ujjain. from indore want to cover ujjain one day, omkareshwar one day and then return. how worthwhile is it to add mandu to this trip? i have a 7 year kid with me and mandu seems to be a lot of uphill walk.

Hi, I am also from Pimpri Chinchwad, We did the same road trip Coorg to Pune in March end of 2024 , We started from Madekeri at 9:01 am & reached Home at sharp 12:01 am , full 15 hours , of course we took all the necessary stops for eating & freshen up … but the route I took was via Hospet - Vijayapura - Pune not the Nipani- Kolhapur it was 985 kms journey for me.😊

For Pune to Patna better to take Nagpur via Samriddhi Expressway Route.. it is better and takes less time... If you have still not returned, take Patna-Jabalpur-Nagpur-Pune route..it's all 4 lane National Highway

You would not get authentic champaran meat in 4 star/ 5 star hotels... there are few resturants famous for Champaran meat in Patna, you can google it.. Second, you should not have taken that detour from Siliguri especially in night..
