That is a great haircut, it's different without being weird. It's like a business-friendly mohawk. I'd like to get it myself TBH but looks like it would need recut frequently.

Great cut! When I started cutting hair, a Flattop would take me 30-35 mins to cut and perfect. I found an easier and quicker way of cutting them, I'd run a #2 straight up the sides and round out the crown, then I'd take down the majority of the top with a #5 and then freehand the top with the clipper and skim it towards the bangs, only time I'd use my comb is when I'd be dealing with the bangs, I'd either use a butch wax or just regular lather to stand the bangs up. The skin tight stuff are my finisher touches. I can whip out a Flattop in 10 mins now. My Boss always said to me, "Practice makes Perfect and Time is Money."

I love this haircut. Very underrated. I used it once when I was younger and I'm biased because it's the one that zangief use.

Never too old for a pony tail. I once saw Kirk Douglas walk into a bookstore here in Phoenix when he was in his mid 80's. He had a silver ponytail and I'd have to say he looked great with it.

I turn the clippers the other way and drag them down. Basically like scratching the back of my head, in that roll area.

This is a great looking haircut and I like and appreciate the time and care you took to cut it right. I am a similar horseshoe flattop wearer who gets his hair cut every 7 to 10 days. Since you started recording the cut after you had white-walled the sides and back, how often does your customer Wayne get his hair cut? He looks like he has a real thick head of hair and I know that it makes a more difficult job for the barber if he has to re-invent such a short cut from much longer hair growth.

ty, I actually had cut the guy in the backgrounds hair right before him lol. And yes he still sports the flattop, and the barbershop is in a small town called Mechanicsville in Virginia. it's called Scott's barbershop, you can Google it and type in Scott's barbershop in Mechanicsville, va and other stuff will show up. thanks for the comments guys and I'll be putting more videos up real soon.

Far better; he was too old for a poneytail and the flattop suits him well. Very cute barber.
