Is there a fuse also or just relay? Mine wouldn’t start and theft was flashing but my battery has been draining down bc when I turn key off and remove the ac will still blow and electronics still power with key off and removed.

So removed relay or did you replace it? How do you make it give the code?

This is the only video I've found that describes the way to get this version out. I kept looking for the slot on the bottom to pry it out. The whole sequence of turning the knob like that to get it to pop out is crazy but it worked!! Saved me from breaking it. Thanks for sharing.

I have a 2000 xl with no tach. What would I have to do to swap a cluster with a tach into it? It's a manual and I seriously hate not knowing what my rpm is. Lol

Just came across this video, I have a 2003 F150 King Ranch 5.4 397k miles. I been having a issues with this truck lately. The truck will start up and run fine, but it will just stall. Sometime it will start right back up, and other times if I hit the top or side of the instrument cluster it will start. When it dies on me the odometer will have all dash in across it. During you video you mention something about the bad soldering on the board, could this be the issues? If you think this is the issue could you link a link on how to do this soldering? Or do I new to get a new board?

What does one do if their cluster from a 2002 F150 has a problem with the PATS system in it? Can it be repaired?

I'm getting theft light code 16. Could the odometer be my problem ?

I have a 2002 ford f150 that I can not connect to via IDS. I can connect to the PCM just fine but when i try to connect to the PATs system it says it could not connect after a minute or so. is there a cold solder joint for the PATs portion of the board?

Mine did this. Didn't run a code. Had to boost it twice. Flashed theft and wouldn't start. Got it to start and had it tested. No idea. I got the relay and switched it. Guess I'll find out if that fixed it later. I can't stand electrical. This helped me alot tho because I had no clue where to even start

For me the relay popped the #18 fuse. I replaced the relay and fuse then boom! Truck is back to life!!! Thank you for the video and info!!! 2000 f150 still going with 224K

I have the 04 Heritage Do all of the 99-04 have the theft immobilizer in the board like the navigator did? Also, the previous owner said my 04 Heritage only had 135k miles but when I resoldered the pin to get the digital mileage display to light up, it said 200k+ miles. So I wonder if the previous owner swapped out the clusters with his other truck or would it had to be the key as well?

Omg thank you, fir making this video, I have a lower intake leak and stopped at the auto store to get my last gasket and my truck wouldn't start no codes or anything they mentioned the theft light and couldn't give me any more info, I thought my engine blew, I took some time to think and googled the light and thanks to you I got back on the road, high five my friend

This did not help. I just had the key cylinder replaced that worked for 2 months now it’s doing it again. Please help. Mechanics can’t seem to fix this

Would this work on a 01 f150 xl no tachometer and bought a cluster with a tachometer but it wouldn’t start because of the theft and once I put the old cluster back it did start please help

Just thought I'd share I just tired to swap a no tach cluster for a cluster with tach in my 2003 f-150. You cannot swap the boards because the cluster bulbs are not in the same location so the no tach board will not mount into the tach cluster.

The back lights went out in my 02 lightning cluster and i bought another lightning cluster that the back lights worked in. So to add a tach u have to get it reflashed which is expensive at a dealership I'm assuming?
