It's a scratch build. You take a Bae Hawk, a Futura, and an Intruder, mix thoroughly in a blender, then spread out on a cookie sheet and bake for 35 mins at 350⁰F. Yum.

Hello, Thanks for this! I bought this preamp and did you mods, the extra gain stage mono amp, and the empty capacitor blob filling. It sounds great, the only thing is the potentiometer does like a "fffffffffff" when I turn it, But if I don't touch it it's OK. There something else that a should modify on the board? hey! thanks for all the information man, ive been scouting youtube for stuff like that for a hot minute now, usually people start with "this is gonna be super easy, even i can do it" but by the end of the video they've built a space rocked from scratch using just a clip and and a pan i have a question if you don't mind. do you do this loop on itself thing with all stereo boards you post? i was especially interested on that video "Incredibly Cheap Desktop Tube Amp", both pre and power are looping? and when you don't loop, do you just ignore the other side? thank you very very much sir

@@morph-the-cat My secrets!! Dang!!! I use the mixer sometimes to blend tracks and tweak the phonics of a given sound, like in this case to fatten up the sound of the drum machine and vocals. It's raw, but it works for me. Plus it's fun.
I love this one too! Reminds me of Guided by Voices. The layers of guitar are so dynamic

This one seemed to take form all by itself, and I felt kind of swept away with the layers of sounds... like a rolling wave that changes form as it goes along. Secondly... the comparison to GBV... holy smokes. I actually had never even heard of Uncle Bob until you mentioned GBV. I figured that I'd better check out Guided By Voices before I reply, so I at least know where you're coming from. And wow. Aside from the very flattering comparison to one of the world's most prolific song writing machines, I also want to thank you for helping me find this guy. He's amazing. Thanks.

Please explain how this is recorded! Surely you cant make a loop this long on that pedal! Love the song
Totally. Up to ten minutes I think? But I've never tested that. This one was a little bit more tricky than others, because the only way I could figure to get the drums to start after the recording began, was to start recording and playing the main guitar riff, then hit the drum machine button with my toe in perfect time... But I got it. Then it's just layering guitars one by one. Still a little bit tricky because you can't redo a single track, so any major mistake means scrapping the whole thing and starting over. The big trick is getting volume levels right without too much frequency talkover. So after the initial track is layed down, I play it over a few times to get the sounds right, then a few more times to make sure I know what notes to play. Then I just go for it. So far it's been working out ok, and it's fun!

@@morph-the-catYep. From right to left as you see, to the amp. The looper pedal is by no means a good recording device. Buuuuut, you can slam out ideas like this just about as fast as they come to you. I have a nice little zoom 8 track, and I've never actually used it. I still need to figure out how to format the memory card, so instead I've been using the looper pedal. It has quirks, and I've lost a few pretty good ideas because the memory just randomly craps out, and because there's only one track to record on, so a new project means scrapping whatever was already recorded. But I still feel like it's worth using for fun. And for about $40 cdn from Amazon, delivered to my door in a few days... Man I really like this thing.

Totally, bro. I'll do a more detailed vid and show the whole setup with all the latest changes. Also, I think you could easily FPV the Spitfire, but it'll mean you have to wreck that nice little canopy though.... I should do a video looking into that too.
Yes the canopy is an issue i wish i could find a way to have the camera inside but the plastic is blurry, maybe with a mod of a clear plastic? Also is it possible to have the same battery?And lastly can i use the same rx and tx of eachine? The tx of this new spit the version 2 has two empty slots and i read that these are 2 unused sockets for DSM (3v) or S-bus (5v) satellite receiver inputs but i don't know what are for

@@marcozs84 Untitled. Although, I wouldn't describe it as a song so much as a flaming pile of used diapers. Eventually I'll figure out what to do with it, but it's been tricky because it started out as just a melody/solo kinda thing, plus I've been away from music for literally two decades and just started playing again last Christmas.... So I suck. This song sucks. I'm documenting my progression from sucks to less sucks. Hopefully some day I'm good enough to not need the word "sucks" to describe my playing and composing. Lol
People always want more stuff, better stuff, newer stuff. They war and toil over each others stuff, in an attempt to have it all. It feels as if no nation is content with what they have. The never-ending search for more stuff is just that, never ending. There will always be more stuff, newer stuff, better stuff. But you can't have it all. People want more, get more, then want more all over again. People must learn, once you slow down and value what is important and are content with what you have, only then will you be at peace.
