I did it all and the device asked to be registered, however I see no company portal option in the passwords section of mac settings. I chose the password option in intune so that the local password should be synced with the entraid account password

Does this allow you to run initial setup with SSO, instead of creating a local account first? Then all will be SSO, including mac permission based passwords?

Will the automatic enrolment work for devices that are currently AD registered. So basically the issue is that the device has already been join by a user through company portal and appears on the intune. However when the same device is given to the new user, that is unable to join intune and intune only shows old instance of a device which has become non-compliant. How can i make sure that the new instance of a device which is logged in by a new user also appears on intune?
