Thank you to my friend for sending me this awesome video at 6:45 am. I went to sleep at 3:00 am and woke up until 8:00 am. Spent all night being a nurse and the new year tending to my patient. He is ok, just an upset stomach. Then we worked in the garden all day long until it started raining and getting cooler. What an ending an a beginning to a new year. We go with the flow. LOL T hank you for the video. I love it.

Brownsville Welcomes the New Year 2025 with parties, music, and fireworks. Dogs barking, people cooking outside, few cars in the street and the party will continue all night long and January First, 2025. Happy New Year 2025. Time to go to sleep at 2:45 am January 1, 2025.

Matamoros fans want a plaque, a statue and a concert to honor their star: Dulce. It will take lots of work and effort but the people from Matamoros will create a great statue and a beautiful plaque. The concert will take longer because of the logistics but it will take place too. Matamoros loves Dulce. Brownsville residents first placed one candle and a flower arrangement. Now more fans are arriving at Linear Park to leave candles and flowers.

Thank you to all the Brownsville Residents that sent me videos, pictures etc. Santa Claus arrived very late because the children were playing, screaming until 2:00 am. I went to sleep and did not see Santa Claus arriving at my neighborhood. The people started waking up at 10:00 am. Brownsville knows how to celebrate Christmas.

So beautiful: the image of the Virgin of guadalupe, the flowers, the candles, the ornaments. Try to go and see the display at HEB Southmost.

Delicious food to enjoy during the cold weather. Some people just drink hot chocolate, tea and atoles to keep the body hydrated and healthy during the Winter.

Enchiladas: my favorite Mexican dish. The Mayor of Brownsville: The best person that Brownsville has had as a mayor. Ricardo's Restaurant: One of the best places to eat here in Brownsville.

In every family we have a SQUANTO, the cook that prepares all the food for Thanksgiving Day. Thank you cooks: at home, at restaurants, at friends' homes. We are the pilgrims, we share and we eat and we give thanks. Thanksgiving Holiday is celebrated in various countries but we as American we always grateful and thankful for living in a beautiful country.

Exciting to figure out where Mercury, Jupitar was. The Pleiades were awesome. I saw the Meteor showers....beautiful. The sky was cloudy.

Many veterans had to work, others were at school and others were at the hospital, but the families and loved ones were there present for Brownsville's Veterans Day March 2024.

The faculty and staff at TSC are the best because the students are the best. TSC also offers technical certificates and prepares students to take the State Exams to obtain their licenses.. All this is reflected in this Altar: the time, the care, the neatness, the beauty of creating an ofrenda to remember faculty and staff that now live in the hearts and memories of students and coworkers.

Talented poets, writers, students, reporters and staff of the Consulate wrote very good literary calaveritas in honor of Catarino E. Garza. Very good speakers and the audience loved the short poems.

Great students, awesome make up for the day of the dead parade and positive energy among all the participants.

So many events. It is easy to miss some of the events because there are so many and new events are posted daily in our city. Enjoy the events and relax if you miss one of your favorite events.

It is nice to see all the items and decide on what items are best for your garden, home, front door or your porch.

The Funeraria del Angel Buena Vista is also a great celebration but I could not find the information. Celebrate life and remember all the good memories of our loved ones. These are all good events but you have to plan your time to participate in them. The UTRGV dance is only for students but the TSC event is open to the whole community. The Consulate of Mexico always prepares an outstanding event. ROCA is also doing extraordinary events for the community. Hopefully, in the future they will do a Day of the Dead/Halloween parade to showcase our border traditions. ROCA can do it with the support of the City of Brownsville.

These are very beautiful Halloween Decorations: the dog, the cat, and the Home Depot little house.... but I only bought some pest control items. That was scary: trying to kill ants, roaches etc

So scary, the prices and forgetting to buy the paint and just admiring all the Halloween decorations at Lowe's Home Improvement.

Dogs require time and money. Sometimes you give little time and little money to dogs but they are still happy. Dogs are beautiful.

My friend sets up a beautiful Altar with an arch that she makes with wire, then she selects the flowers and uses a white covering for the table. She goes by the book: all essential objects and required items. This year I will set up 3 ofrendas but simple ones. One for cats, one for dogs, and one for Selena.

Very exciting moment waiting in line to get the voting ballot and getting a sticker after voting was also a great moment. Thank you Brownsville residents for voting.

At the end of the year, the people from Brownsville Keep Moving Forward and get on strict exercise routines, healthy meals and honor Rocky IV trend of getting better and not beaten up by the tamales, sweet bread, etc Keep it up guys: honor Rocky IV. There are workshops to cook healthy food, sponsored by the City of Brownsville Parks and Recreation Department.

Halloween, the most popular holiday, celebration, festivity in the USA for adults. Adults buy candy, have parties, decorate homes, and wear the most amazing costumes and also give away candy to children. Fun for grown ups.
