I noticed the extra stumble and mini pauses in the Simulator due to the Ortho4XP scenery. There is always a trade off. But beautiful scenery for sure. Norway is beautiful.

Another awesome video, In probably my favourite area of Norway, the Sognafjord, and Sogndal. As one of my favourite bands was from Sogndal, a band called Windir. And they started a whole new genre of metal called Sognametal, of which I am a huge fan. Sadly the singer, and founder, Terje "Valfar" Bakken died in 2004 and the Band Windir is no more. But my love of their music, and the lands they came from, still inspire me massively. Looking forward to next video...

Hi Kristoffer, Great Video, Norway looks so amazing, I have Hi Res Ortho-scenery for it myself, and shall be following your route myself over next few days. Just for fun. I was super fascinated to hear the part about the Scottish that got slaughtered, as I believe it is the same story that a band I listen to have a song about, its a band called Tyr from the Faroe Islands, and the song is "Sinklars Visa".

The Hardangerfjord bridge area blew my mind when I drove it last year. I was also amazed at how accurate Euro Truck Simulator recreated the area from that bridge to Vøringsfossen

Har selv spilt simulator for noen år siden (FSX), og nå frister det å ta det opp igjen. Derfor lurer jeg; er virkelig grafikken så nydelig på X-plane, eller er dette en add-on som må legges til? Hvor sterk PC trenger man for dette? Takknemlig for svar! PS: Lag gjerne en flytur innom Rogaland, mye fint å se her også 😉 Lysefjorden, Ryfylke, Stavanger, Sandnes - for å nevne noe.

Is this some addon or is this default X-Plane 11 scenery?

Nicely done videos about my favorite country. Been to Norway a couple of times during my truck driving days and I really loved it and alway looked forward to the next trip. Also passed the Lærdalstunnel when I once drove to Bergen.

Hvilken av Scenery filene er det som gir alle de nøyaktige bygningene? Når du fløy over Skien var det fotball-stadium etc.

Hei Kristoffer R, Har nettop started med X-plain 11 og har prøvd meg på ortho4xp. Jeg klarer ikke å få dette bilde som du får. Jeg får ikke valgt NO eller NO3 i basesource. Kan du gi noen tips?? Jeg kommer mest til å fly i dette område Notodden - Skien - Sandefjord da jeg flyr normalt ut fra Skien ENSN.

You flew right by Kjeller Airport just before landing at ENGM. It has been in continuous operation since 1912, but is about to be demolished.

Kul video! :) Jeg kommer fra XP10, og jeg var nødt til å bruke Norway Pro modden. Men jeg har hørt at XP11 har mye bedre landclass data og streetmap data enn XP10 hadde, så kanskje jeg ikke trenger denne modden lenger i XP11?
