This is my spare channel to be able to follow my progress as a Photographer and Videomaker. This is also a channel where I can share lens reviews, gear reviews and how I shoot things where I cant on my main channel. I mainly shoot car related content but I do dabble in other things to help me be more rounded in my craft. I enjoy this and learning stuff, and getting better at making better content so I created this channel!
Behind The Lens: Shooting My First Horror Short Film (M43)
So I've decided to finally delve into shooting my first short film since Ive been doing youtube for more than a decade but nothing like this. This kind of outlines and explains ideas I had during this project and how I shot it. I wanted to make this to look back on but also to give other people inspiration if they wanted to make their first film also

you mention a gimbal. Do you find that is really helpful even with the stabilization in the gh5?
I didnt need it, but i have used it on the gimbal and it makes it even more stable because of it being such a wide lens it worked out great. Good for establishing shots, or tracking shots following someone.

@@world4hit488 I do have a gimbal but I don't use it often or really at all. 98% of my shots are handheld. Photography wise I just practice a lot and that's the main thing to do

Now I know why your using the Sigma 16mm paired with the GH5, because they are both whether Sealed 😄. Looks good😊
It's also a great focal length for taking heads with some background separation. I use it for photos a lot as well, it's also got a great look wide open. I've used it probably the most of any lens, barely comes off the camera even tho mine is now damaged I found out so I'll have to get another
Subscribed buddy. I didn't know that there is a 50 mm from Sigma at f1.4. 16mm is very nice. On my channel in my last video I did a comparison from all my lenses included the Sigma lenses. come check it out if you want. cheers
The sigma 50 is an older sigma DSLR canon mount lens I use on a speed booster it's not a mft lens that's why, I also have the 30mm 1.4 version as well as the sigma 30mm 1.4 mft version
@@ZenMotionMediaOfficial oh ok right! Yes because I just bought the Sigma 16mm 1.4 and the 30mm too. I already owned the 56mm 1.4 from Sigma and I love those lenses ! That's how I've found your channel :)
@@kenslyderI'm definitely going to grab the 56 this year mainly for car photography and some video just haven't got it yet. I have to buy another 16 because mine got dropped unfortunately
